The location of this hotel was great. It was right by all the nightlife, malls, and the station.
The room was quite large compared to other Japanese hotels I've been to. There was a nice roomy closet and a spacious entryway and a nice big mirror. Also the bed was super comfy.
The breakfast was buffet style and pretty good.
Even though the location of the hotel was great, it was a little difficult to find and I had walked right past it when I was looking for it. The entrance is not very obvious and only a vertical flag sign amidst many others alerts you to it.
On the card they give you with the room key, they say you have to leave your room key, which is an actual key, not a card, at the front desk whenever you leave. It also says you have to leave your valuables with the front desk too. So that was a little disconcerting, but you get what you pay for.
Even though it also says no smoking in the rooms, my room had the stale smell of cigarettes. I can't hold that against the hotel though if someone had disobeyed the rules.
The bathroom was small and the light was dim.
In the morning, there was a beeping from the next room. I think the previous person to stay in that room had set an alarm on the bed clock and it hadn't been reset. The sound wasn't that loud, really, but it was a little annoying.
