"Fantastic hotel. The design of the hotel is well thought out. Loads of plants and shrubs. The staff make you feel at home and were so welcoming. Beautiful beach opposite the hotel. Don’t be put off by some of the reviews saying it is a busy road, it’s not!! We stayed in a Mountain View room that was so spacious. You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel. Thanks to all the staff for making our holiday and stay so memorable."

"The island is wonderful, everyone is friendly, the villas are neat, clean, the food in restaurant is very expensive. Lack of animation, the open bar on the beach is closed, there is no waiter. No type of entertainment is offered within the hotel. The first two days are pleasant silence and peace, but already on the third day it lacks a little liveliness. Mosquitoes are a separate story. "L’scale Marina and Resort was a wonderful understated property just across from Eden Island in Mahe. Though apparently the property is over 3 yrs old, it feels as if it’s brand new. It is a small boutique resort on the marina, with a pool, resturant, and lovely spa. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff was courteous and helpful. Very quiet and in walking distance of small mall on Eden Island. Highly recommend,"

Beautiful view, quiet and lovely. The location pretty much requires renting a car, which was reasonably priced and efficient. Plan to go out for lunch and dinner."
