"My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights - I wish it was 3 weeks. This was easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and not just because of the beauty of the hotel itself but because of the unbelievable service and hospitality of the staff. I have never felt as welcome or safe as I did here, which is remarkable as 3 young ladies. Will certainly be coming back. Thank you again!"

"Honeymoon suite was a dream, large pool on the balcony with the view of the beach and ocean. Not very private room as there are rooms right above that can see your whole balcony and pool. "Vencia is a small hotel that is close to old town but set aside enough to make it a more quiet stay. The setting and overall condition of the hotel is great. Staff and service throughout were excellent. The room is spacious and in good condition with some unique and less desirable aspects. We are not fans of the design where doors to toilet are frosted glass (decreasing privacy) and the sink is in the main part of the sleeping area (and drain water can sometimes smell). "I'll start by saying we loved the location, outside appearance and pool. However, this hotel fell a bit short of expectations. The driver expressed annoyance at me because I called the hotel when he was over 15min late for pickup and hadn't called us to alert us he would be late. Registration person came across a bit arrogant and unfriendly at check in. Room was in not very good condition - in need of repairs. Included breakfast service was terrible and food quality was not good. "
