If you like art, French culture and tradition, this is your place to stay in central Aix. The whole building is adorned with period furniture, art, and flowers. Our double room was spacious, the bathroom impeccable. We love the continental breakfast served on a silver tray in a beautiful salon and classical music in the background. We stayed two consecutive weeks and had a wonderful time.
The hotel is just minutes away from Cours Mirabeau, Hotel de Caumont, Musee Granet, rail and bus stations, in one of the most charming parts of the old city. Nearby Le Grillon and restaurant Jardin Mazarin became our favorite hangouts. This place is a highlight in our traveling experience. The two-star ranking delivered by the French government does no justice to this three-star property, but makes it affordable for you to enjoy. We will be back!
