Know before you book

What you can expect

Discover Borneo's natural beauty and connect with nature on a stunning walk in UNESCO-listed Kinabalu Park. Allow your local guide to show you the enchanting flower-filled trail and then the lowland Poring forest as you embark on a trek to wonder at the diversity in this ecosystem.

After pickup at your hotel, drive away from the city to the boundaries of Kinabalu Park surrounding Mount Kinabalu. Immediately marvel at the oak-chestnut forest, one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world. Then, under the shadow of the mountain's jagged peaks, set out on foot to explore the walking trails and discover the park's spectacular flora and bounding fauna.

After lunch, hop back into your vehicle and travel to Poring forest on Borneo's eastern boundary. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife and birds as you follow your guide through lowland dipterocarp forest. The pinnacle of your tour comes when you head up the canopy walkway and admire the wondrous world of flourishing ferns below. After a day of exploring, relax on the ride back to your hotel.
