Our late night manta ray adventure (seasonal) is geared more towards those guests that are comfortable snorkeling in the ocean late at night. Because of the late start time, there are less boats and less people at Manta Ray Village which makes this a much more surreal experience.

Start your adventure by watching the lights of Kona town as we make our way to our snorkel destination (Manta Ray Village). Once we arrive at the snorkel location, receive a full safety briefing before joining our guides in the water to snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Afterwards, join us back on the boat for hot cocoa, hot tea, chocolate chip cookies or a cocktail while you enjoy the beautiful night sky and the lights of Kona town as we make our back to the pier. Because this tour is done late at night and geared towards more experienced snorkelers, guests going in the water on this tour should have previous snorkeling experience.

Because manta rays are wild animals, we also offer one of the best manta guarantees in the industry. If you join us on this adventure and you do not see manta rays during your tour, you can re-book with again – for free – on another night (subject to availability and only applies to guests that are getting in the water).

***Please note All guests getting into the water MUST know how to swim without the assistance of a flotation device.

  • We offer a "ride along" rate for those guests that will not be getting in the water
  • A valid picture ID is required when purchasing alcohol from the bar
  • Tour start/end times vary throughout the year. Please contact operator directly to verify check-in and tour time
  • Manta Rays are wild animals and we will not refund in the event you do not see a manta ray. In the event snorkelers do not see a manta ray, they will be given the opportunity to join us again (for free), subject to availability.

Our Late Night Manta Ray Snorkel is the adventure for more experienced snorkelers and those that are comfortable being in the ocean late at night with less snorkelers in the water. We start the evening by taking a quick 30 minute commute down the coast to Keauhou and Manta Ray Village. Once we reach Keauhou Bay, our experienced Captain and crew will provide you with a history of the hahalua (manta rays) and a complete safety briefing before getting you in the water to snorkel with these majestic creatures.

After your snorkel adventure, grab a cup of hot cocoa or tea and sit back, do some stargazing and enjoy the city lights as we return to Kailua-Kona.

This adventure is geared more towards guests that have moderate to more experienced snorkeling skills. The state-of-the-art engineered light boards are the best that the industry has to offer and our grand staircase makes for easy water entry/exit. All guests getting in the water MUST know how to swim without the assistance of a flotation device.
