Tour will depart from Gaeta, from where you can admire the Aragonese Castle overlooking the sea. We will head towards Monte Orlando Regional Park, a place that can offer surprising and enchanting sceneries. The glimpse of the cliffs, walls more than 80 meters high, which drop sheer into the sea and the sight of the massive and evocative “Grotta del Turco” will be unforgettable. At the extreme point of the promontory the Sanctuary of Montagna Spaccata awaits us. A small spur of rock in the middel of the sea attracts our attention: it’s the “ship of Serapo”, so called because it’s shape vaguely resembles a vessel. Arrived in Sperlonga we will admire the medieval towers dating back to 1500 and the wonderful natural caves of limestone formation: the Bazzano caves, Capovento caves and the most evocative, the “Blue Grotto”. Immerse yourself in its crystal clear waters! We will continue along the ancient Via Flacca (187 BC) and the Cave of Tiberius before returning to Gaeta.
