What you can expect

The main building of the Erawan Museum is already quite an attraction in itself. An enormous, eye-catching architectural feat on the outside is a blending of fine arts and decorative arts inside where it becomes a museum that collects and transmits the knowledge of art, religion and culture.

It was not an accident that, from the beautifully manicured Himmapan gardens oudoors, that the museum is housed inside a gigantic elephant replica. The aim of this elephant is to be the representative the greatness the Kingdom of Siam, where the elephant happens to be the national animals and it greatly revered.

The aim of the museum's creator is to educate people on the kingdom's long history, great culture, fascinating traditions, fine arts and teach people how to appreciate and expand by Philosophy, Beliefs, Literature, Arts, History, Persons, Ways of Living etc.
