{"id":754,"date":"2015-08-12T01:23:26","date_gmt":"2015-08-12T01:23:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/?p=754"},"modified":"2022-07-20T20:25:27","modified_gmt":"2022-07-20T20:25:27","slug":"tainan-taiwan-bobo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/experience\/tainan-taiwan-bobo\/","title":{"rendered":"Exploring Tainan, Taiwan with Bobo Stephanie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, I went back to Taiwan again after a year but this time was very different because I actually explored the whole of Taiwan, from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/Tainan.d6177060.Destination-Travel-Guides\">Tainan<\/a>, to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/Kaohsiung.d6177725.Destination-Travel-Guides\"> Kaohsiung<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/Taichung.d6177563.Destination-Travel-Guides\">Taichung<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/Taipei.d180030.Destination-Travel-Guides\">Taipei<\/a>, all sponsored by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/\">Expedia Malaysia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My first stop: Tainan, the land of good food! Have you heard of \u5403\u5728\u53f0\u5357? A lot of people have mentioned it to me before and I absolutely agree because the food in Tainan is really really good!<\/p>\n<p>If you follow my Insta or Dayre, you would have saw that I <a href=\"https:\/\/travelblog.expedia.com.my\/flights\/eva-air-hello-kitty-flight-malaysian-blogger\/\">traveled to Taiwan in EVA Air from Singapore!<\/a> My flight was at 3.20 pm so by the time I reached Taipei it was already 8.30pm! Since my plan was to head back to Tainan first, I headed to the High Speed Rail (H.S.R) straight and took the 10.15pm train back to Tainan. The ticket was at $1305 and it took me around 1 hour 20 min! Due to all the traveling I didn\u2019t have time to take any pictures in the train or whatsoever!<\/p>\n<p>Reached Tainan at 11.30pm, so I managed to catch the last free shuttle bus (\u5174\u5357\u5ba2\u8fd0) to the Cozzi Hotel which is located right next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi | Love Tainan <strong>\u65b0\u5149\u4e09\u8d8a<\/strong><strong>\u53f0\u5357\u65b0\u5929\u5730<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>The location is really convenient because there are a lot of restaurants and convenient stores around! I reached at 12.30am and I was hungry so I just walked out to the nearest convenience store to buy some food. Don\u2019t you just love hotels that are really near to convenience stores? I have never seen such big pillows before, it\u2019s a lot bigger than the usual pillows.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2827\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/10-spacious-hotel-entrance-2.jpg\" alt=\"blogger-bobo-tainan\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So spacious and clean!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2825\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/09-coffee-hotel-entrance-2-2.jpg\" alt=\"Coffee in Tainan hotel room\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A lot of tea bags and coffee to choose from.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2828\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/11-bathtub-hotel-entrance-2.jpg\" alt=\"Cozzi Hotel bathtub\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The toilet is by far my favorite, it\u2019s huge, clean and simple. I love toilets that are simple and cozy. The huge bathtub is perfect for a bubble bath after a tiring day of traveling.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2829\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/13-toiletries-hotel-entrance-2.jpg\" alt=\"Cozzi Hotel toiletries in Tainan\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They also provide a lot of toiletries for you just in case you forgot yours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2830 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/14-kidfriendlyhotel-hotel-entrance-2.jpg\" alt=\"Xbox kids toiletries, Cozzi hotel\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Because it\u2019s a kids friendly hotel, they do provide more toiletries for your kids but they put it in a green Xbox recycle bag! Besides that Hotel Cozzi offers other amenities for kids such as kids size bathrobe, slippers, pillows, blankets and toothbrush and toothpaste! A playground that parents and kids get to enjoy together!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Day 2: Food in Tainan!<\/h2>\n<p>The next morning I headed to my aunt\u2019s bakery which is located right opposite the hotel!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2931\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/21-bakery-2.jpg\" alt=\"tainan-bakery-bobo\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2839\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.my\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/23-cakes-hotel-entrance-2.jpg\" alt=\"tainan-cakes\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Their signature layered crepe cake in maple syrup\u00a0flavor (\u5343\u5c64\u86cb\u7cd5\u6953\u7cd6\u8584\u9905). It tastes different from the ones in Malaysia, it\u2019s very light but full of flavor. It comes in a few flavors such as coffee, chocolate, green tea, strawberry and chestnut. \u00a0If you\u2019re ever there, do drop by and give it a try! Everything was so fresh and affordable. I have been to these places a few times already so they were pretty familiar to me.
