"The Asher Adams, Autograph Collection is a decent place to stay in Salt Lake City. This hotel is located in the historic Salt Lake City Union Pacific Depot that once served as the Amtrak station in SLC. It now has a nice shopping area behind the hotel called the Gateway. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are nice and quiet. The elevators operate pretty quickly and efficiently. "Great stay but two minor issues just due to the fact that I think this is a new build/newly renovated building, the rest of the stay was fabulous, clean and aesthetically pleasing: Outlets on one half of the unit did not work so no TV or device charging from the dining table area which was sort of weird. "This place is a scam. The room we had cost $354.00 and was a small attic, with old cheap jungle stuff lying around. No AC, No windows that opened, and one window you can look out, nothing like the pictures showed, NOTHING. Breakfast was 45min late, in the morning we could not find anyone who we could speak with, that didn't need a translator app. This felt like a room where a John would take their trick, except as expensive as the Grand America. Horrible place."
