"Power kept going out in late afternoon and during the night. I have sleep apnea and to be honest , didn’t sleep last 2 nights because of power issues. I guess they had no backup generators. Our bathroom sink also backed up and wouldn’t drain. I called them 2 times to fix it but they never resolved the problem. To be honest, I wouldn’t stay there again"

"I will start by saying the hotel was in a great location. Being right there on Ipanema beach and just steps away from the beach. It was located near many restaurants and local stores. The staff were welcoming and all were very helpful throughout my stay, making me feel like I was on vacation. However, I have stayed at many hotels and the amount of money I spent on the Lux Vista Mar Panoramico was not worth it. The room had this weird smell. It smelled like urine. "Everyone was amazing. For one improvement, I would say that the times to clean the room were a little late for my liking, normally the girl came late morning or early afternoon. I would like to have the room cleaned around 10am so when I leave the room after breakfast the room would be ready on my return in the afternoon."
