"I loved the location! Very close to the river and the London Bridge. You could see the Shard and the city Beautiful at night! Borough Market was a few blocks away. Lots of restaurants nearby. The kitchen was compact and great and the washer and dryer combo was wonderful!"

"Lovely stay at the Ibis Southwark. A warm welcome on arrival and we were able to get an early check in which was much appreciated. Room was spotlessly clean, tea and coffee provided in room as were bathroom toiletries. Ideally situated near the South Bank and Borough Market. "This is not a five star hotel. The bed and room furnishings (which were run down) were mediocre at best. It takes more than free chips and soda pop (free mini bar which it is not) or a button you can press for do not disturb to be a 5 star. I expect luxury accommodation, this isn’t even close. There was no bellman to greet you and help with luggage until you walked in and asked for help. There is no sound proofing on windows as stated so if your room is on the back of the hotel you are on the...
