Ocean Casino Resort

"Check in was at 4 pm. We were told at 3:30 that our room wouldn’t be ready for HOURS. Mind you we had dinner reservations at Amada there for 5:15 and a 7 pm show at Hard Rock. We had to change in the car! We asked if we could take any other kind of room or if there was something they could do, but no help at all. When we finally got into the room, it was nice but not nearly what I expected for the price. One bed was missing the stool at the end of the bed (one bed had it). The body wash dispenser was broken and they don’t provide any other products but a mini lotion and hand soap so I couldn’t wash by body. Had leftovers and a fridge but no microwave. Beautiful shower but the water pressure could have been better. You only get so many hours in a hotel room and when you lose them and then it’s not perfect, after the price you pay, it’s quite disappointing. And of course being a casino/ resort everything is separate so don’t expect a breakfast. We wanted room service but nothing was provided in the room. We saw carts for other rooms however. Don’t pay for parking when you arrive either… pay before you leave. We thought we had to leave a ticket in the car to avoid any problems. Our paid ticket expired. Plus we paid full price when it’s cheaper AFTER you get a players card. So get your card first! No one was very accommodating or helpful. It’s a nice place but misses so many marks."

"First time and The Marina Suite was great. Clean to the point I didn’t mind using the Tub over the standing shower. Pool area is pure vibes with a bar and grill going. All ages in the resort but definitely more of an adult getaway. Only complaint are the older model TVs in the room. Did not have streaming capabilities and music was $1 an hour plus tax if you wanted to play off the TV. Had a charge for a movie that I did not order and front desk was kind about removing the charge even after dealing with a rough crowd before me. Casino floor isn’t huge but for me that was a good thing. It’s away from the boardwalk but just a 7 min ride away if you want to visit the sand. I will be back!"

"I was very pleased i gota room beach from but the gentlemen that checked me in was very unhelpful! Even after i told him this was my 1st time being here and being away in a very long time ! The room was very clean ..cleaning staff were nice ..casino staff also nice ...Not so much checking in or out ...Not helpful at all !! I booked through Hotels.com so i really didnt get much info ...paid alot of money ...got no incentives...no one said anything about breakfast nothing ...Very disappointed in the front desk staff ...Im from Pa was a little over 3 hour ride and wish the welcoming treatment would of been better ...Christina Poreca"

"I was very disappointed with my stay. The complimentary breakfast was poor. The cereal and bagels seemed stale, the waffle machine was out of order, and the sausage and eggs were unappetizing. The only breakfast item I enjoyed was the yogurt. The coffee was also disappointing. While the bed was clean, the room itself was outdated and in need of renovation. The hallways had an unpleasant odor, and we had to keep the air conditioning running to help reduce the smell in our room. The shower curtain was positioned so far from the tub that water spilled all over the bathroom floor every time we showered. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again."
