"Location, balcony, grotto looked neat even if we didn’t use it. Liked the cottage, artist loft feel to the place. My friends place in the other room there had dirty sheets, stains on the couch etc, and a front door that wouldn’t lock, but our room was fine."

"Clean rooms and very accomodating staff. We got the room with full kitchen and upped deck beds. They clean the room everyday as well. My kids (5 and 2y/o) had fun at the plauground outside and even just playing inside the room. Spacious enough for them to play."

"The beds were comfy, the rooms were well cleaned, and staff were helpful. The breakfast costs money, and the shower is one of those standing up showers. It Laundry also costs a minimum of $3 CAD. The stay was good though. The view was beautiful, with the mountains. Would recommend."

"We were in building 5 on the 3 rd floor. I loved the shower head. It felt like rain and so relaxing when showering. The place was also quiet during our stay. Pricey place to stay. The extra resort fee was around $260 for 4 nights. Be ready to pay for extra resort fee. It was not included in the amount you paid in Expedia. The restaurants in Lake Louise area were also expensive. The room has microwave and refrigerator. If you want to save money for food make sure you buy microwavable...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Canoe. The property itself is beautiful, with incredible views and relaxing hot tubs that made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The thoughtful touches really stood out—complimentary coffee was appreciated each morning, and the included bus passes were incredibly convenient for getting around without worrying about parking. "I am torn for giving the Fairmont Banff Springs a 3-star rating, however I just couldn't get over the tiniest hotel bathroom I've ever seen at a luxury property nonetheless. I do have to say that the service at this property is outstanding. The Fairmont Gold experience is fantastic as was the amazing Gold Concierge, Oliver. "Very nice hotel with spacious bedrooms and convenient location to downtown Banff. Staff was cordial and helpful. Rooms and amenities were clean. The only minor inconvenience was that one of the pools and both hot tubs were closed for maintenance during our stay. Given that this outdoor amenity with its fantastic view is one of the major selling points, this was an inconvenience because there were quite a few people in the remaining pools. "The restaurant attached to the hotel was handy, great breakfast menu but dinner menu was not really to my liking. Only 2 floors so there wasn’t so many people around and the mountain view is always spectacular. We were on the main floor with a patio door that led outside to a piece of grass. There should be chairs and a patio to sit on so you could stay outside. Bed was good, pillow selection was good and the room was clean."
