"It was a great location, we took advantage of the airport shuttle, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and the bed was super comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for a nice shower after a long day of travel. The only negative about our stay was how much noise we could hear through the walls. Our room was adjacent to a busy road and we could hear every car that went by and every conversation outside our room."

"This is an older property needing a serious update. The room was ok but very dated. The hall carpet is nasty, needs cleaning badly. For the price I was very disappointed. The overall appearance was not impressive."

"We reserved the 3 bedroom house for our family of 4 adults, but when we checked in were informed it was under renovation and was not available. They had reserved the executive king and executive double queen for us at the same price and comped us for the breakfast buffet for both mornings of our two night stay. The rooms were excellent, with a view of the ocean and mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is free and easy to access."

"Very dated and in need of maintenance. The door to our room stuck so badly on the hearth it was hard to open. The room was mostly clean but there were stains on the couch and carpets. There is no dining room as pictured. The shuttle was on time to pick us up from the airport."

"Property manager Chen was rude, often saw her & the owner treating workers poorly. Wouldn’t recommend but it was a place to stay when everywhere else was booked during tourist season."

"Really nice staff and comfortable beds! Had clean and nice showers and bathroom! Even though they were shared they still felt private and were always available when we needed them. Super affordable and would definitely recommend staying here! It was the perfect location after our long flight into Anchorage."

"nice renovated hotel. The bar, coffee/giftshop, fitness center, and hotel rooms give an updated retro feel. All hotel staff seem warm and most will greet you when you pass by. The hotel coffee/giftshop will be your earliest access to coffee in the area should you not want to use the hotel room machine. The area around the hotel is quaint for access to gift shops, fun/cheap bars, some restaraunts, the train depot, bike rentals, and city history. There is a weekend market nearby I didn't go to....

"We spent 2 different nights at the Mt McKinney lodge. Our 1st stay, we had ordered a handicapped room, they put us in a room on the 2nd floor, no elevator, 2 parking lots and 2 buildings away from our build and of course the room wasn't handicapped friendly, then it took over an hour to get the same kind of room on the 1st floor in the same building. On our 2nd stay the room and location were great, except when we got to our room it was all ready occupied by a lady who had just USED the...

"Everything was wonderful! I booked without really knowing about the place. Great energy! The free breakfast buffet was great and Pike’s landing restaurant was also great! Will definitely stay there again when I visit!"

"Good location, great view from our room, decent breakfast. Other than the lady who checked us in who gave us our room with a view, the rest of the staff seems to have trouble speaking English and therefore communication was difficult. Breakfast was packed with people and the breakfast area was poorly laid out which made for a traffic jam around the food. Overall a pleasant stay."

"Due to key card issues, the room was unlocked and the door ajar at arrival. The room had musty odor which we were able to mitigate somewhat with the AC and one of the window locks was broken so the window didn't close tight. There was only 1 bed and we were offered to purchase a roll away cot for the night if needed."
