"This place is rundown dirty. The lobby smells the minute you walk in. We had to leave the same night, we couldn't stay because there were bugs. It was a terrible experience and we had to get a room somewhere else in the middle of night."

"We stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms (a couple and a solo traveler) and while the location is the hotel's strongest point. It is a historic building in the Loop, walkable to Millennium Park and easy transit access. A few things could be improved. Our check-in experience was a bit awkward as the host assigned the smallest room to the couple rather than the solo traveler, which felt like an oversight. Bathroom especially: broken fan that was ready to fall, rusty door frame, shower head that looked to be an afterthought and shower curtain doesnt prevent water from leaking (which is probably why the door frame is rusting)"
