"Rocky was awesome and gave us great recommendations. Check in lady was nice and had no issues. Only issue we had was the bar. My husband waiting a good 30 min with no acknowledgment and it wasn’t busy. This happened 2 nights in a row. Someone from the food area noticed he hadn’t been helped and helped him get his drink. Super disappointing and not sure what that was about since other people were getting served with no issues. Other than that everything else was great. "

"Clean, pleasant, easy area to navigate"

"Makeup mirror light didn’t work. Bathroom way outdated. For a Double bed the bed was really small. I have a double at home and it’s bigger. Staff wasn’t horrible but not smiley and friendly. The hotel overall was very nice. Like the discount they gave us on breakfast for the convention, but everything else in the hotel was way overpriced for what you get. I mean $40 for a chicken wrap, chicken salad sandwich, a cup of fruit, and 2 candy bars is outrageous. I got more food across the street at an actual hotel restaurant for the same price."

"Convenient and walkable"

"Hotel was very close to the lake, clean, near the Riverwalk.. comfortable beds (with clean sheets and soft pillows) and very clean bathrooms with fast services. We ordered few things from room and they came within 5 min and the delivery was very professional as well. We took the Valet because we were told our Highlander (without roof rack) won't fit in the garage (I will take that with a pinch of salt as the valet put my car in the garage). Overall it was a comfortable stay and we would love to stay here again. My kid loves the lake view and the Ferrous wheel from the room. We were on the 6th floor. "

"I loved everything about my stay at the congress plaza. Were the rooms updated no. But it had it charm. I am in love with the designs of the 1920. The staff were extremely accommodating. They did not even charge me for late check out. I will be staying here again. "

"This was my first time staying at this hostel and in Chicago. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great! About a 20 minute walk to Navy Pier."
