"I've been coming to this hotel since I was a child, (30 odd years ago), so I have fond memories of family holidays here and other than a brief pause over COVID, I've come at least once a year with my young family. This time felt a bit different though. While they do a great job of maintaining the massive building and surrounds, this grand old lady is showing her age. Rooms have always been dependent on the owners investment and while my (connecting) room wasn't in bad shape, it is my experience...
