"The hotel itself is in a good position & in a quieter area, away from all the drunks, but it is in need after some TLC, I realise its an old building, but it really does need some £ spending on it, tv remote not working & you have to pay £20 deposit for remote for air conditioning, why? Wouldn't go back, would rather pay more for better hotel."

"I honestly can't understand why this hotel is rated as well as it is showing online. When travelling I always stayed here previously but it has been a significant time since my last stay when it was a Premier Inn.
The room on the lower floor had an odour of urine and felt damp. The bed mattress was worn with no support. Thankfully The bedding was clean. The room overall was oversized and felt damp. The shower had a small cockroach looking insect residing. And the door had no security latch...

"It's a good place for the price and it is easy to come and go as you please. It's close to South pier, on the tram route into Central Blackpool and bus routes to Blackpool and Lytham and Blackpool South railway station for Preston and beyond. Fairly quiet and there are nearby facilities."
