"My room was spacious with a lovely view of the city, many have balconies. Food is excellent; there's a nice breakfast buffet in a cheery breakfast room and room service is 24 hrs and excellent. All of the hotel staff were pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. Shout out to Norman, Oscar, Norton and Eldon, who are the most exceptional and helpful of the great hotel staff."

"We had a great time at the hotel. It’s an iconic landmark in Hollywood. As such we found ourselves staying at the same time as several private parties hosted for the Oscars which were happening that weekend. This meant some of the facilities were unavailable. This was initially disappointing, however the management team went above and beyond to ensure that this didn’t disrupt our enjoyment by arranging for a late checkout so we could use the pool and additionally offered discounts on checkout. There was a real sense that the management team were determined to ensure that our stay was a good one, so we are very grateful for that as as such have no problem recommending this hotel."
