Room smelt bad, air conditioner was ridiculously loud and it was too hot to sleep without it. Did not have proper doonas, ordered food to our room and we got half of our order, they didn’t return with the other half so we had to go down to the restaurant and get it. Also, there wasn’t a smoke alarm in the room. Convenient spot. I would spend a bit more extra money to stay somewhere nicer.

An old favourite over the years.
Friendly service, great restaurant, great TV & aircon. I have been there somewhere between 100 & 200 times. It’s one of my favourite hotels.

Thanks for your feedback,Unfortunately due to the vagueness of your response, we are unable to address what we can improve to have had you enjoy your stay more.Quite a bit of work has been done in the past 12 months since we, (the new owners), took over. Each room has so far received; new bedding, new paint work, new tvs, new air conditioners, with new carpeting and fridges being done room by room at the moment as well as completion of the entire motel outside being repainted. We have just completed a 3 month renovation on the restaurant last week, Sorry to hear you did not notice any of the improvements, nor provided any negatives you apparently experienced.Have a great day

This place is a find if you have transportation and/or don’t mind walking. The price is right, there’s a nice trail nearby that leads to two different towns, both @ a 15 minute stroll away, and both with convenient rail service to Sydney. I really enjoyed my stay here over the holidays, and think it is a very good value.

Great host! Very accommodating host (pardon the pun). We arrived late and he held the kitchen open for a quick dinner. The food was fantastic! Great stay.
