We arrived after an overnight flight to find our room avaialble in the morning. A lovely surprize. The room was very clean. The staff helpful. It clearly states but do be aware there is no elevator. The stairs are somewhat steep. Rooms only located on the second and third floor. Easy to get in with the door code. So could come and go at our leisure.

Great location situation very close to the entrance of Venice. No need to take a boat to get there. Walking distance from the garage. The hotel staff here is wonderful. Very helpful and communicative. It was appreciated since we encountered some travel delays which precipitated a later than expected check-in. Our room in the hotel was a bit outdated, however, it was clean. I would consider the room a good value for the money. Being close to the car park was nice. Just be aware that it's a good walk to all of the other sites and locations in Venice. This really isn't a problem, just be aware.

We had a great time in Venice and Hotel ai Tolentini was part of that. The room was great and it was located in a great place. Staff was very helpful giving us tips to how to walk around venice and what to do. Room was clean and they will let you leave your luggage in case you need to check out and you want to stay longer in venice

Perfect hotel to stay in if you want to avoid the stairs over to St. Lucia, i.e., going to and from Marco Polo as you are on the "bus" side plus you are still close enough to everything.

Good location to all points in Venice
Small hotel right in the centre of Venice close to the train and bus stations. Good value for money - especially for its location. However the beds were not very comfortable as you could feel the springs although it was alright for our 1 night stay.

This hotel is not over sold as being a '5' Star when it isn't....it is a very inexpensive terrific option for exploring Venice. Despite being well positioned for getting to and from, looked after very well, exceptionally clean, staff that wants you to enjoy your stay....we are happy to say our 2 separate two day stays were excellent.

We arrived rather late but the hotel ensure that we can check in by providing us with details. Everything was prepared and even with map provided stating place to visit. We were very impressed with the thoughtfulness and details shown. If only electric kettle can be provided then it will be great.ll. Other than that, all was awesome!

Great location and hotel
Loved our stay in Venice. The hotel was the perfect location and the reception staff advised us on where to eat for dinner. We would recommend this hotel for any couples looking to take a trip to Venice on a budget. You can walk around the island easily from the hotel and it’s a short distance from the station.

Close to transit and sites
Small local hotel. Clean with basic comforts. Very helpful staff on check in. About 20 min walk to Rialto bridge and 3 mins to bus/tram/train. Not fancy but would recommend for location and price if you want to stay on the islands.

Great stay close to the train station.
Great location just steps from Piazzale Roma and close to the Santa Lucia train station. Directions to the hotel were very clear and easy to follow. Very small reception area, but we arrived in the morning (after a cruise), and were able to leave suitcases there. Very firm mattress. No breakfast.

Nice room close to train and bus station
Small hotel that is just over the bridges that lead to bus or train station! About 15-20 minute walk to Saint Marks. This is not a fancy hotel but clean, easy check in, bed was comfy. Being close to the stations made it easy to travel to and from Venice

Lovely little hotel
Great place to stay not far from bus and train stations. Only has stairs so be prepared, but there aren't too many and it is a nice little hotel. Friendly staff who speak English. Air conditioned which is a bonus in European hotels in hot weather too

Adequate 3 star accommodation
Good location, room quite small, however everything was clean. Bed quite hard but we managed OK. Could have done with kettle and cups to make a cup of tea in the morning.

Very nice hotel in Venice, quite close to all
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Coming from Florence, we had a bad experience so we were really alpreciative of our room at ai Tolentini. It was as in the photos, with a private bathroom, which was a plus. Would definetly recommend this place.

Great Location
Excellent location but let down by very uncomfortable bed and minimal compliments ( no kettle, iron, etc). The bed needs replacing, apart from being very firm the springs can be felt through the surface making for a poor nights sleep.

Great location
The hotel Tolentini was perfect for our four day visit to Venice. Only a 5 minute walk from the bus and rail station, but far enough away to feel we were in the heart of the city, close to canals and labyrinth of narrow streets. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and air conditioned and recent renovations have maintained the character of this small seven room hotel.

Convenient to bus and train stations
I booked one night at the beginning and one at the end of my trip to Croatia and Italy. It was convenient, just a quick walk, from both stations. The rooms were small, basic, and clean. The mattresses were rock hard. The desk staff member was extremely helpful which I appreciated since this was my first visit to Venice.

Convenient Location to Cruise Terminal
Great Hotel for those looking for accommodations close to the cruise terminal. It's easy to find from Piazzale Roma, less than a 5 minute walk. Only downside, as stated in other reviews, is about a 25-30 minute walk from San Marco square. Also, you can hear noise from people walking by later into the night, around 12-1 am, and early in the morning, around 5:30 - 6:00 am, if you are a light sleeper. Room was clean, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Lastly, for those with larger luggage there are two narrow flights of stairs that you will have to carry your bags up, no elevators.

Great stay, recommended.
It was a great stay given the price of this hotel compared to the other ones. The room was not big but nicely arranged, hence using the space effectively. The bathroom was good and had all that is required. The location is excellent, very close to Piazzale Roma and the St Lucia station but also in a quiet street couple of blocks away from the grand canal. There are also some nice restaurants very close by on the street. The behaviour of the staff was very good. They were humble, polite and helpful. Also, the pictures of the hotel were exactly as it is there, nothing being blown up. In Summary, the hotel is a perfect budget stay and I would recommed it.

Great Little Hotel
The hotel is small, comfortable and inexpensive by Venice standards. The staff were helpful and cheerful and the room, although quite basic, was adequate for a 3-night stay and was always kept clean. Our stay would have been improved by the provision of tea/coffee making facilities

Cute hotel in a nice neighborhood
We took a bus from the airport and then walked from the bus station to the hotel - a short walk. The street the hotel is on is kind of hard to find, even using the directions the hotel sent us. We were able to check in way before the check-in time, which was a plus. The staff was courteous and helpful and our check in was quick. Our room was small but comfortable and clean. The bathroom looked like it had just been redone. I loved opening the windows and shutters in our second floor room and watching the people walk by. Because there is not a round-the-clock person at the desk, we were given a keypad code to get in the building in addition to a key to our room. It was a short, easy walk to the vaporetto (water bus) station. There is a pizzeria below the hotel which we didn't go to, but seemed to be popular.

Great location, clean room!
It was a good hotel for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room could use an upgrade with the decor but other then that it was good. We were in walking distance to everything. Bathrooms were nice a modern looking. We were 4 adults traveling and only had 1 double bed and one bunk bed. It was a little uncomfortable. The top bunk could only hold 70KG which was ok for us but would not always work for everyone. Other than that, great stay.

Cosy hotel close to station
Just a few minutes walk from bus and train stations and easy to find. A small hotel with nicely furnished modern rooms, well maintained and very clean. Does not have a restaurant but you can take breakfast at a couple of cafes just across the street. At least a 30 minute walk to St Mark's Square and the streets of Venice are like a maze so it could take much longer.

It was a cute place near transportation. The bus and train stations were no more than a 10 minute walk away. It was about a 25 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. They bed was very uncomfortable. The couch was more comfortable to sleep on.

Overall the hotel was great. The only one small downside was that the walls are very thin and we were disturbed by our neighbours coming in late on one particular night. Apart from that I throughly recommend this small hotel. Great location particularly if you like walking, near the station too and a great price. WIFI not the best but OK most of the time. You cannot go far wrong with this hotel!

Best budget hotel in Venice!
It was way better than what I had hoped. It being a budget hotel, I did not have a lot of expectations. The room was clean, well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities (A/C, heater, drying rack, shower). The front desk staff is limited (only up till 7 pm) but very helpful. They will give you good advice on where to go and what to eat. They also have free printer services so if you need anything printed they are more than happy to help. I stayed there for four days and I couldn't have asked for a better budget place to stay!
