Trang Hotels with free wifi

"The price was so good we booked two rooms, one for the wife and myself and one for my MIL. The hotel is clean and within walking distance of several dim sum restaurants as well as the Trang Railway Station area. If you are driving there is adequate parking outside in front of the library next door. The staff were all incredibly polite and helpful, the hotel is clean and well kept. The rooms are pretty large size, the beds are comfortable as are the pillows. The bathroom is not huge but the shower is of good size. They provide a small refrigerator and free water each day. Our only cons were it can get a big noisy with large bus tour groups (many of them youth groups) coming in and out, outside of floors 4 and 5 is an atrium that is all tile so the sound just echoes. Also, the train tracks are directly across the street although no trains run at night. Another small gripe is there is no furniture in the room, although they have a makeup table with a stool there is no table and chairs for sitting and working or eating. Although we had a few small complaints overall we were very happy with the hotel and would stay here again, especially at the price we paid. "

"Large, spartan but comfortable rooms with many amenities for the price. Fridge. Hot water with good pressure, aircon, TV but with mostly local channels. Great location near the train station and weekend market. Also nearby other tourist services and several good restaurants. Typical hard beds and Wi-Fi cut out sometimes. Some stains required too, even when using elevator Even so, this hotel is fantastic value for money. I enjoyed my stay."

"When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."
