"The hotel was basic but super clean.No cups in room but reception produced tea making essentials when asked. The young lady who booked us in was lovely. The man who provided tea making bits was super nice. I managed to leave my fan remote behind and it hadn't turned up when I first rang but another lovely man took my details and said he would see if he could track it down. He rang me back , having found it ,and asked what I would like to do I asked if they could post it to me which they agreed...

"Hotel is dated and a bit tired but not to the extent of some of the reviews. We had a very comfortable stay and the staff were very friendly. They went out of their way to help. Very reasonable prices!"

"Gorgeous house in beautiful, rural location. Friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and very nice touches, such as complimentary sherry in the room, good biscuits and coffee! Wish we had had more time to sit in the little wine drinking room! The biggest bed we have ever slept in! Great artwork throughout and nice garden. Next to a large pub"

"Property was really nice, spacious and well equipped with great quality appliances and total of 3 toilets. Hard to fault. Only advice would be to take a sleep mask as although good quality fitted blinds in the bedroom they do let sunlight through in the morning. Lovely stay and not far from Deansgate and nice bars and restaurants. "

"This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. Close to metro (tram) stop and an easy 20 minutes by car from the city centre (less for Salford Quays or Old Trafford). Apart from check-in we never saw anyone during our weekend stay. Host was contactable by mobile if we needed (which we didn't). Self service breakfast provided (cereals) as under new...

"Stayed one night at at airport arrival. It was really close to the airport which was a great plus. Check in staff was super friendly. Restaurant was closed already but they offered late night pizzas, the pizza was really good haha. Room was spacious, big bathroom, they left a handwritten welcome note which was a really nice touch. Bathroom was good and clean. THE BED was awesome what a nice night sleep. Complete english breakfast, sausages, hash, beans, eggs, coffee, the full run. Def worth it...
