"We booked just a regular room and lucked out with the Old Kitchen room. It was amazing. We had a private hot tub to use and just an overall comfortable room. The bed was great and the AC was even better. The staff is amazing and goes out of their way for you. The mansion is a must stay just beware that the hawker next door is very noisy but stops around midnight. We ate there and it was fabulous. The breakfast at the old mansion is way better than any standard free breakfast I’ve gotten anywhere else. My husband and I agree that was hands down the best hotel while we visited Malaysia. "

"Clean modern hotel with efficient and helpful staff. Hotel facilities were really good. The free shuttle to the night market was also a bonus. Well positioned for access to George Town by cab but far enough out to feel calmer and more relaxed. Good eateries within walking distance. "
