I had high expectations of the this hotel. as it was highly rated. The front office and house keeping service was a bit dismal The hotel has only 10 rooms and you would have thought everything would be in top condition. There is a small courtyard attached to the room. It was never swept, and the chairs were covered with dust. This could be turned into a lovely private sit out area but not so. On the day of arrival the wifi didn't work in the room, it took couple of phone calls and the whole evening for it to get sorted out. The following day I asked for an iron and ironing board, it never arrived. The rooms weren't cleaned everyday. The bed sheets appeared to be discoloured, not crispy white, and there were mosquitoes in the room. My son had food poisoning and the following day I was throwing up too. Something in the food here here wasn't agreeing with us. I wanted to extend one more day, to give us a chance to recover and the front office told me I should do this online as that gave the best price. I didn't think, this was helpful or good customer service. My son was sick about 8 times and I had to take him to a doctor to get medicated. The hotel lobby area is kept beautifully clean with soft music . The entire property is dimly lit to give a romantic feel. If you have children this is not a good place to stay. As the food menu don't cater for kids, even though they will accommodate your requests for simple dishes. There were mosquitoes in the room, which further annoyed.
