One of the worse and worthless experience ever encoutner in my life. Its just a waste, worse and worthless place for anyone to spend or stay there in their holiday. A total disaster from all sides. Most rooms are like a prison cage with horrible rotten smell. You will find mould from ceiling to all the way to the bathrooms. Stayed there for 4 nights with small upgrade which turn out to be 11sqm room which is almost a size of my house bathrooms. Even my toilets are cleaner then then the hotel rooms.

Very Poor. Would not recommend.
Booked the "Standard Queen" for 4 nights: not a "Queen" bed, no fridge, no window, no separate exhaust fan switch so the fan is on all night, quite noisy in the early mornings but worst of all, the bathroom image is deceptive and does NOT look like what is shown; it is less than HALF the size, the toilet/basin/walls are drenched when you shower, there is mould and a strange white discharge on the floor. It was unpleasant. Even worse, Value Hotel appears to be aware of the deceptive image but was not willing to resolve; said it was Hotels.com problem (not theirs). Poor customer service. Location-wise, it is a far from Novena MRT and the walk is challenging with construction and uneven/narrow pathways all along way. Only positives: the aircon was good and there is a free water cooler/dispenser on the ground floor. All in all, would NOT recommend.

There was a strong urine smell in the room and bathroom. There was also mold in the bathroom and the cabinets were dusty. I asked the front desk if I could switch rooms but they said they were fully booked. The housekeeping came to my room and sprayed the bathroom with air freshener but I still couldn't sleep because of the smell. I found a plastic bottle hidden behind the curtain. I reached out to the front desk again in the morning and I showed them pictures of the mold and plastic bottle hidden behind the curtain. She said they don't have an empty room but will send housekeeping to clean the bathroom and the room. When I came back the bottle was still there and the room and bathroom still smelled.

This is a terrible place to stay. Room had roaches, the bathroom full of mold, bed sheets stain the floor had hair and rubber bands from previous guest also shower had someone’s hair all in the floor of the drainer and the sink to brush teeth was clogged! As well as the toilet forget it!! It had poop and pee from whoever was staying there. Extremely filthy place! Do not STAY HERE!

We stayed for 5 days. What I like is the friendly staff and everyone is just really helpful and accomodating. I also like the fact that it has a swimming pool so we added an extra activity for kids. The bus station is 2mins walk but there is no MRT around the area which is a lot more better to use in SG. And also we asked to tidy up our room but they just gave us the towels & toiletries but they didn't changed our beddings which is not good for a 5days stay. But, all in all I still like this place and would recommend this to my friends.

I (and my wife) booked a budget room, with no windows, so I expected a budget room. However, what I hadn’t anticipated was that the only place to store clothes was on 3 hangers on the wall, an incredibly tiny table which just fitted the jug and two cups. No chairs either. The bathroom shower was a combined wet area so after showering the bathroom floor is wet for at least 12 hours. One final thing, I booked a hotel with a pool, which is always my requirement for a hotel. On the first afternoon I checked the hotel facilities on the hotel tv channel and it stated the pool was open til 7pm. I got to the pool at 5.40. At 5.50 the cleaner arrived and told those of us in the pool to get out and clear the pool area as it closed at 6pm!!! There were about a dozen of us. I will say though, that the reception staff were hugely helpful and great to deal with. But I wouldn’t go back there.
