The Shangri-La is great for families with young children. The indoor play area is maybe a little expensive, but the swimming pool and outdoor children's play areas are great. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food amenities are excellent. The breakfast offers a wonderful variety of options. This is my first choice hotel in Singapore.

Holiday with 2 kids - great room, amazing food at the hotel especially the buffet, walking distance to major retail and other restaurants and easy transport to kids attractions. Staff were amazing and always willing to help. Will definitely come back.

One of the world's iconic hotels. Changed quite a bit since I was there 30 years ago although the very high level of service remains. Wonderful atmosphere with very welcoming staff. Easy walk to Orchard Road shopping and MRT. Great pool, well appointed rooms with very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Hotel has solid restaurant choices. The birthday cake was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise. Not the cheapest but why would you expect it to be?

Overall a great experience, despite a tough work and travel schedule, I left refreshed somehow!! 😊 I love the work station set up, which they put in your room in advance, yes you pay for it, but was great with the big screen etc.. Surprised not many other hotels offer this!! Well done to the staff!

This hotel is super kid-friendly. There were gifts for kids and things were prepared based on kids' age. There is a kids indoor playroom which was fantastic. Our room was very clean and dry even though the weather was humid. Our kids had a blast staying at this hotel.

Top quality hotel in quiet leafy residential area
I had a lovely stay here and would stay again. My room was very comfortable and spacious with excellent housekeeping. The staff were warm and welcoming. The location is a little out of the way but a bus stop is within 10 minutes walk and the island bus service is excellent and cheap and easy to use with a credit card tap in/out system.

It is a wonderful hotel, best location in Singapore. In a quiet ,very green, elevated area with wonderful gardens, restaurants etc. 10 min walk to Orchard str.

We enjoyed staying at this resort style hotel with a beautiful garden. Room is clean and bed is reasonably comfortable. Meanwhile it’s a big hotel so busy at lobby and breakfast restaurant.

Great for the family
Dear Shangrila Hotel, It was a pleasure to stay with you one night. We enjoyed the kids club, the jacuzzi, and the swimming pool outside and the buffet. We recommend that the sushi was a bit over cooked and one time the key to the elevator didn't work and there was no Netflix or disney plus on the TV and the jacuzzi wasn't very hot and didn't have bubbles but everything else was amazing especially the room service was excellent.

This is the hotel we enjoy most in the world. From the reception in the lobby to the assistance on departure.
