Too many groups of tourists. The pool is great but the rooms are basic and dated. The in room facilities is average. Wouldn’t recommend unless it’s a budget issue. The MRT is a taxi ride to Mattar station

Very basic hotel. You can tell from the pricing. But the customer service is over the top. Convenience of currency exchange machine outside, and many food choice. The area might not look like suburbs, but it’s super safe. 15min drive (no traffic) to all the must see attractions in Singapore. The hotel will call the taxi for you which is super convenient if you don’t want to use Grab. Overall, great experience.

The property does not have free shuttle service to and from the airport as it states. I booked this hotel partly because of the free shuttle service but spend an extra $50 for transportation that I didnt want to spend. The hotel was not worth the price, lights didnt work correctly, the customer service was not great. Will never book there again.

Not only was the hotel unable to help me find other accommodations I was unable to get my money back and ended up sleeping on a park bench that night. I’m beyond furious and would highly recommend not going to this hotel or using Expedia.com.

After 16 hours flight, I arrived hotel early morning when room was not ready apparently. But Barlan accommodated me at a very comfortable room and offered my a warm cup of coffee so I could set up computer to work before checking in. Feel so welcome!
