Excellent choice for in-transit at PVG airport. One negative is shuttle from airport every 1.25 hrs vs 0.5 hours from hotel. Also, coffee station at 05:00 am would be a nice perk for early morning flights.

I stayed at the hotel because my flight arrived so late and I didn’t want to bother my parents midnight. The hotel provides the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. And the check in process was quick even though it was late. The hotel room is clean and decent size. I enjoyed the hotel breakfast. There were a lot of choices. There is a ramen station that you get fresh made ramen.

Just to update some earlier reviews, the bus service is now more regular. You need to catch it across the road outside entrance 9 in terminal 1, but they run every 30 minutes for most of the day. They also have a schedule posted in the hotel. It as clean but it does need some money spent on it. Only 5 minute's drive from terminal so taxi drivers may be reluctant

The room was too hot, air conditioner did not work well, wine was terrible, i foud difficult to communicate as not many people speak English, They did not give me my invoice for one night y will have problems with my company because of that.

A clean room in a relatively lifeless hotel. Like a lot of hotels the fitness area wasn't great. The key feature was it is close to the airport.

Give me a pizza and hold the smoke
Hotel is lacking what it used to be - was what was looked forward to after a long trip through China. TV has been reduced (only four channels in English), and room service is unable to make pizza or sandwiches anymore (they say they also can't make these in the restaurant). Restaurant food is B-grade at best. No smoking also is posted everywhere in the hotel but woke up to a room filled with smoke - no consequence was done to fix this issue to find/solve this problem.

Hotel is in great shape and convenient and I bought a couple of things from the gift shop. I have 2 complaints. 1) please add instructions to the hotels.com website or have your own website working that gives instructions on how to get from the terminal to the shuttle and show shuttle schedule. I missed the email that was sent when I was running around trying to find the pick up. There are no signs in the airport so it's difficult. I spoke to 5 different people in the hotel and 4 people in the airport before finally the english person at the hotel said it's across the street from #9 exit at T1. lol. 2) Please remove the Chicken Tika Marsala from your menu; it was made with tomato spaghetti sauce on yellow rice and was super gross. I was so hungry I ate it. I explained to the waiter it had the wrong sauce. Where's my basmati rice? Only serve items you are good at making. No one used to eating Indian food would like this or anyone else. Or rename it to Chicken Spaghetti in Nan!

Good, except for transport from the airport
Fine hotel to stay very near the airport (but not close enough to walk). Comfortable, clean and good room service. But shuttle from the airport not frequent enough at night, and no pick up spot marked. Had to call the hotel, then wound up taking a taxi - and the driver made a fuss because it was a short fare.

When we arrived we had to handle our own luggage. We had large suitcases and work bags. There was no offer to help us from the concierge desk and had to struggle taking our bags to our room I asked about airport transfers at the reception desk and for a timetable but was told just to stand outside the hotel entrance when we were ready to go to the airport and a shuttle bus would be available every 10 mins. When we arrived for the bus the following morning we were told the next shuttle bus would be in 35 mins. We then had to call a taxi as we couldn’t wait for the bus. When I got to my room, after checking in I couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. I called reception and the person who answered the call told me to wait and hung up. Each time I called reception (3 times) they hung up the call. I have stayed here many times and this was by far the worst experience. I will not be staying here again

The hotel is close to the airport and offers free transfers from the airport. But, the free transfers are not frequent and also not flexible – we had to wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes if we wanted to use the free transfer. As the hotel is close to the airport, we had great difficulties to arrange a taxi as the driver was so reluctant to take such short ride. The infrequent and inflexible transfer totally defeats the purpose of choosing this airport hotel. In addition, the bedding was rather damp.
