One of the best hotels in East Asia, providing a luxurious experience, the only downside I would say is the elevators can be confusing because there are so many. All the amenities are beyond great comparing with other Hilton and Marriot hotels I stayed in East Asia.

Excellent location, poor room design (i.e. the room is meant for guest to stay not just for fancy design). Its toilet downgrades conrad's standard as a premium hotel brand.

The location is very good. However, the room design is like a white elephant, i.e. beautiful but useless: small and inconvenient toilet and shower room, plus big and useless walking hallway. It has not reached the top tier standard of a conrad (probably because it was taken over from Le Meridien).

There was a very inconvenient situation with this hotel.The hotel was very nice besides this problem.The flight to Shanghai was delayed due to a storm and o called to inform them but doe to some miscommunication within the hotel the message was not passed and they had cancelled my booking.I had chatted with Expedia and the hotel assured a full refund back which o have not received as yet.

部屋はきれいで素敵な感じです。部屋にずっと滞在する分にはゆっくりできるホテルだと思います。外灘にも近いので旅行者にはよいホテルです。残念だったのはジムとスイミング・プール。カウンターの人はけっこうな冷たさで、かつ、あんまり導線もよくないし、きれいでもなかったです。そこにいかなければその他のスタッフは皆さん親切で素敵なホテルでした。

Some problems need attention
Going up and down th elevator from lobby to room was a problem. Only 2 of 4 elevators work. And there are so many people waiting to get in. Funny hotel did not think of operating the other 2 elevators Also people cram into elevators causing hazard of getting stuck and dangerous.

The Hotel is in a excellent location but the property is dirty, the service is terrible! The beds were dirty , the room ceiling and walls had stains, the toilet was not flushing and the maid service was awful. I will never stay in this hotel again! the quality of food is extremely low as well.

Hotel was overpriced, room was smelly, damp with humidity. The hotel and guest rooms are outdated. Needs a renovation, carpets in the hallway and guest room were dirty and a dirty brown sofa. Bed was sofa and under comfortable. Terrible guest room floor plan, shower next to the tub open area, then when you step out of the shower your in the living rm. There’s no privacy! This is only a 2 star hotel. Caught in Lekima typhoon we released our room to go to the airport and then, the City Centre Marriott sold out. We had stayed there for 6 days, definitely a 5 star hotel with all the luxury and amenities.

Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. City view room has spectacular view of Bund. Rooms are a bit dated, finishes are not as new/clean as expected. Beds were not comfortable for me.

Rooms need makeover
Nice place, excellent location. The lobby and other areas are newly renovated, but the rooms could really use some work too. The chair in my room showed some heavy use with the upholstery being really worn. If they are able to freshen up the rooms, I would give this a too rating.
