First of all the staff at the front desk were amazing. So nice and helpful and checked us in early for no fee. The hotel caters to tourists but still traditional. The gem is the free laundry machines and daily Tooth brushes and toothpaste as well as water. Great location to the streets, shops and food. Great price for the best stay in insadong. Pleasantly surprised!

Had a pleasant stay at Sunbee. The staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke great English. Although the hotel didn’t have much amenities (kids pool, spa, etc) it was near a street with many food options and shopping. But the purpose of our visit was to visit the embassy so the lack of amenities didn’t bother us. It was an easy walk to the embassy and Gyeongbokgung Palace from Sunbee. We walked there with our 2 young children. Loved that the hotel had a laundry facility and it was free and detergent was provided. You can also borrow strollers if traveling with young children like us! Would stay here again if planning to visit the surrounding area. Thank you Sunbee Hotel!

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at the cozy Sunbee Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our week stay. We especially liked the warm flooring, laundry facility, and quiet area that is fairly close to 3 different station lines. We look forward to coming again when we visit Seoul.

Very quiet sleep like baby, and on our 25 days leaving of backpack 7 different hotels it’s very nice walk in to place has washing machine and dryer.

First time in Seoul. This small hotel is tucked in a narrow corner, but it is right next to the main walking street for Insadong. The guy at the desk spoke great english and gave me a map of the neighborhood with recommended restaurants. I ate at a few of them and they were great. I was able to walk to both temples, and the village and myeongdong. There are 3 different subway stations that are all about 5-10 min walk away that can get you to other parts of Seoul like the markets and Gangnam. I had a free coffee in the cafe every morning and they have a free laundry in the basement which I used. The room was pretty big and the bathroom was big too. No shower curtain, which I guess is normal in Korea. I got a taxi to Gimpo at 5am and it was no problem and took about 30 min. Two free bottles of water in the fridge every day was very nice. Everyone recommends to stay in Myeongdong for a first timer, but I am really glad I stayed here in Insadong. It's closer to the tourist sites and less hectic and less commercial.

Sunbee was a great choice, loved the place and the property, staff were very nice and accommodating. The room and bathroom itself was beautiful. As two mid-twenty friends, we loved our stay here, even wish we stayed at Sunbee when we returned to Seoul. The room was spacious (king bed), lots of closet space and ground floor for storing the bags. The washroom was breathtaking after having stayed in questionable hotels and hostels previously. It is a wet bathroom in case you’re wondering. Quite safe with two doors to get into the room itself, and we were able to walk around the area at night though I’d advise of course always pairing up as you would with any city. The hotel is located close to both bus stops and subway stations and very close to Insadong st, Ikseondong (great for souvenirs and cafes), as well as the bigger attractions like Gyeongbokgung palace and others. Would highly highly recommend anyone to stay here - whether you’re younger friends/family, family with kids, or older adults. The hotel is quiet with no noisy distractions in the area.

You’ll appreciate this hotel so much more after your visit to the nearby palace. It’s design is similar to one of the buildings(?) there. Loved the simplicity yet very practical design. So much room for luggage. The heated floors when the temp dropped this weekend was a nice touch. The ease and ability to open windows along with a cooling system when the hotel got to hot from the heat. And the comfy bed made it a good nice rest after long days out. So close to insadong ro! Lastly, the staff are so respectful and helpful. Would stay again.

Great location.
Great hotel in a great location. Super kind and friendly staff, very clean, and nice coffee at the cafe to start your day. Easy walk to restaurants, convenience stores and grocery stores. A couple of blocks away from the main street. Nice little laundry area that the hotel lets you use.

Nice location, good hotel
If you’re looking to stay in Insadong this is a great location on a quiet back street, within 10 minutes walk of three different subway stations. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful, especially when we asked for help with getting a taxi to Seoul Station. The room was large and fairly plain. It’s showing its age a bit but was comfortable and had everything we needed.

This is a well maintained hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping team worked in our room everyday. The front desk and the manager were very kind and helpful. It is located in Insadong, a traditional area. We love the location as it is full of shops and restaurants. We also watched a free traditional show at a square nearby. Subway lines 1, 3, and 5 are in walking distance.

Great Hotel to stay in Seoul and explore the beautiful area where is located (Insadong). Very comfortable room, the staff is very kind and friendly, and they even have a laundry room for guests, what else you can ask? Walking distance to the subway station, Airport Bus Limousine stop, and plenty of variety of restaurants, cafes, and nice places to visit. A high value for money. Extremely recommended

Great location and stay.
Amazing location near Insadong and easy access to trains. Quick acting AC which was welcomed after days exploring in the humidity. Good sized room with everything we needed. My biggest complaint was the pillows and how hard and awkward they were. That and the bathroom not having a shower curtain which caused water to go everywhere. Other than that a great stay.

Comfortable and clean with conscientious staff. Its very convenient for accessing all kinds of Seoul activities and neighborhoods. It was great for my famiky because there a grocery store around tge corner and laundry facilities.

Smaller hotel off the main roads in the insadong area close to busses and subways. Nondescript building and lobby but very nice rooms. Great hotel for the cost.

Great option!
Hotel was basic but the location was great. We also loved having a free washing machine and dryer, it really helped us during our stay!

Great English speaking staff. Self laundry - only two washers and two dryers all in Korean. Luckily there was a cleaning lady when I went, and she kindly helped me out. The cafe had free coffee and a selection of yummy sandwiches and other drinks. Location - literally one minute walk to the shopping streets. There is a CU convenience store within a minute walk. You can walk to Gyeongbokkun palace. The room is stylish. Bathroom floor gets extremely slippery! I’d stay again when I’m on a budget.

The staff all speak very good English and are extremely friendly. The hotel is located in a perfect location. Close to the subway but far enough off the street that it’s still quiet.

This is a very nice hotel. The cafe is lovely and the staff is attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. This is SO close to uber charming Insadong and a subway station two stops away from Seoul Station. Lots of food and dining. Walk to major sites. Tiny negatives: The wallpaper could be updated or painted. It was hard for me to understand how to use the completely free washer and dryer. Other people seemed to have no problem and I should have just asked the helpful staff. Free detergent too!
