Property - Overall pretty OLD and basic think for that price you can get newer hotel around the same area. Service - Excellent services from front desk to room service Saving factor for this hotel - is the staff and location.

Impossihle to get any sleepa
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP. A live band sets up in the street right outside the hotel and plays massively amplified music / noise all evening until midnight. Difficult to have any sort of conversation anywhere in the hotel and totally impossible to sleep. When the noise eventually stopped around midnight our ears were so drumming we still could not sleep.

Very good location in the heart of Georgetown. Value for money. Extremely tight and limited on-site parking (free). Likely need to at public town parking (remember pay fee using app or get parking fined). Hotel condition is not as new as reflected in the photos.

On Expedia, it said room with window and "safe". When I got there, the room assigned has no safe. Staff won't budge, no managers to help. Checked in took awhile. The room is ok, small, compact, windows that open to a wall 3 feet a way, and there's mosquito screen. With it close it looks like room without windows. Anyway, I talked to a manager the next day, after some back and forth, they found out Expedia did indicate room with safe, so the best they could transfer me is a bigger room with safe and without window (just like in the picture). I took it it was ok. the bathroom is always wet, curtain is too short and can't cover the shower area. The Elevators are dirty, with Coronavirus problem it's unnerving going in there. **good point: hotel is smacked in Georgetown city centre, 1/2 block from to night food court, not far to walk to historical area. For the value and proximity to City centre, bus stop, heritage area, shopping centres, it's ok

FOR THE PRICE I PAID!!! Dissapointing service, Toilet, Took 40mins to check in. Was 38 mins late after late checkout, they kept my bond. Despise this place, not understanding or helpful with my elderly parents.

There is a Skyview of this building which can let you see the surrounding hotel environment. Hopefully this area is open for 24/7 so people can go up and enjoy the view anytime they want. In overall the staff is very helpful and friendly. Clean environment and comfortable to stay at.

Excellent location, can go around George Town easily since hotel is in beginning of the road. Room is clean, Bed & pillow are comfortable Staff is very fine (they are quite playful during working hour - e.g. singing, gossip). A little bit noisy if you room is facing the road side. Overall, worth the price that we paid :)

A fabulous stay at Kimberly Hotel!
Excellent central location near bus exchange at KOMTAR and accessible to a few shopping malls plus numerous eating places within Georgetown like street food, night markets and wet markets. Clean and well kept environment. With a friendly service crew, its coffee house known as Auction Rooms, was a great place where we enjoyed our leisurely daily breakfast.

Good budget hotel
This hotel is nice but the room is too small, no place to put things, no closet, only has a small open shelf with hangers & 1 night table w/2 draws and a bench. We have 2 bath towels no face towel and we ask for face towels, the reception seems surprisingly and send us 2 towels for my 4 nights stay. I wonder is it the room I have is the very basic one, the location is good close to bus terminal and a big mall, the place is very safe with security and at the central part of Georgetown. Hotel is clean and comfortable.
