I booked the most expensive room in a hotel that was supposed to be AWESOME, and here is the result:
1. Works on-going just behind us, and not being able to have privacy in our “private” swimming pool, as the workers were JUST there. They offered us to change the room to another one (cheaper) with no extra costs... THANK YOU.
2. The food in the restaurant was absolutely distasteful, the bread of the sandwich was hard...
3. The courtesy snacks in the room were all gone off. You can imagine my face when eating an outdated kit-kat or pistaccios....
4. They entered the room even if I shouted “NO ENTER” to make sure the housekeeper understood the message, and she came in. I appreciate the gesture of coming in to leave bottles of water and some fruits, but she could have just leaving them at the door instead of talking to me from the bed.
5. The safety box was closed and IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN, so when I called the room service, they came for help with a key and after several attempts of opening it, I asked if I could try. Finally, I used it with the key and not the “personal code”.
6. They made our room while we stayed there tyding up. They couldn’t wait, or come in another moment, or seriously... don’t come at all?
I always book the accomodation for my trips with booking.com. This was my first experience with hotels.com and I relied on your accomodations, whatsmore, spend a lot of money considering the overal cost of a room here... But I can tell this is going to be the last.
