My husband and I loved the hotel. The buildings, the rooms, cleanliness, everything about the place. The staff were friendly and helpful, helpful and attentive to our needs, going that extra mile to ensure we had a fabulous holiday. I would certainly not hesitate to go back to the Rawai Grand House hotel.

Great Value
Rawai Grand House rooms are very spacious. Staff are friendly & happy. Restaurant not open at night but everything is only a walk away.

Never come back again. Air around the pool sometimes smelling bad, hotel next to a trash collection facility. Much more disappointing is the unfriendly and not attentive staff. There are mich more value-for-money occasions around.

Phuket Experience
We decided on a last minute trip to Phuket for the CNY holiday. We found a Orbitz deal that brought us to Rawai Grand House. The Grand House is a selection of Villas from 1 to 3 bedroom. They were very clean and nice. The place could use a little up keep. The rooms and beds are slightly dated, but the overall stay was very good.

My stay was not at all I shouldn’t owe one penny. Cab driver took me to bad location after location. Feared for my safety. The site of hotel was not safe location and was nothing like the pictures showed. Will not use Orbitz again if not refunded.

Great hotel with huge rooms but nothing around you
Modern, spacious hotel with good a.m. entities. Although if nobody goes to the bar/order food the staff go home so then you are stranded with nothing to eat/drink Bit of a rubbish location and you can’t book any trips from the hotel as their English isn’t very good. All in all an ok hotel and worth the money

Shower not cleaned properly. Beds were rock hard. No hot water until we finally saw a staff member to tell. Breakfast extremely poor. Fresh fruit not fresh, cold coffee and tea. staff didn't understand when we ordered breakfast didn't understand any English.. No staff around during day at pool bar to buy a drink or food. staff were playing badminton in afternoons! Pool was dangerous broken tiles, broken steps to get in pool. Sauna locked and said we must pay extra to use. Gym was the same. No lift,had to climb stairs to get to room.

We were told that the hotel is in patong. It is quite far. We asked for a refund and were told by fon that a refund was possible if Expedia agreed. While on the phone with Expedia, she calls her manager, who says "no refund". She would not let me speak to a manager, since she was on holiday until Monday (same person she just spoke to!). Expedia agents tried and tried and they would not budge.... saying it's a holiday weekend (there were only about four or five couples seen). We decided to lose money and leave. All we needed was a taxi. The taxi took 35 min to come, tried overcharging, and kicked us out. Interestingly enough, when we asked for another taxi, she contacted the same driver. That driver never showed. I hope no one wastes their money at this hotel, where a positive client relations does not exist.

$30 USD from Phuket airport. Not on the beach, must take taxi to the beach. Ants. Dirty room. Two twin beds pushed together, no bed skirt, no pillows. No towels. One roll of toilet paper sitting on counter. No mini-bar. Phone doesn't work. Faux wood flooring, dinged up furniture. Daily fee to used pool. Pool is not picture listed on Expedia. Daily fee to use gym.

Great place to relax.
A nice place away from the busy section, so very relaxing around their beautiful pool. It was only a 5 minute walk to everything, beach, restaurants,etc.

Hotel is far away from everything!
I had to move rooms 2x times! First one was dirty& dusty! Second time, door lock was broken. And third room tv didn't work! The receptionist wasn't very accomodating! I wouldn't book tour nor shuttle with him. He jacked up the price for his own interest!

First Time To Phuket
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The stay was incredibly friendly. The grounds were clean and nice. The restaurant by the pool was affordable and offered a good selection. The staff provided a short shuttle to and from the beach throughout the day. The room was clean, spacious and the A/C worked amazing. Markets, pharmacies and a few restaurants were just a short walk away.

Close to the beach and kite surfing
This hotel was close to food, the beach, and kite surfing, which was our purpose on the island. We were not that far from a bunch of things, like Big Buddha, and a bunch of markets. We did rent a scooter, which is highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel in May 2015 and enjoyed my stay .The staff were friendly and very helpful .It is quiet and out the way about 5 minutes walk from Rawai foreshore .After reading reviews about it being hard to find I did a google earth search and after that it was a breeze to find .I will stay again.

Great Value hotel
I stayed in this hotel for 2 days, this hotel surpized me with just how well set up it is, the rooms are extremely nice and the facilities are top knotch for the price it is hard to beat. the location is a bit away from the beach, and becasue of a lack of a road leading directly to the beach. a motorbike rental is probably due.

Best hotel in our travel
I traveled all over Asia for a full month and it was the best hotel we stayed in. I did pay a little bit more for a better room, but so glad that we did. The room was clean & big. The staff was friendly & helpful. We got to meet the owner Mr. Ko. He was friendly and welcoming. Beside the 5 minutes walk from the beach, it was perfect. Also, the best place to eat is Nikita, right on the beach & please do yourself as favorite and stop thinking that Pad Thai is a real Thai food. For goodness people, you are on Thailand. You should try real Thai food. Peace & we will stay there again anytime.

Best thing was the size of the room - it was really big. Great for our family of 3 with 2 desks for both parents to work at. Was hard to find though, as is quite hidden in back streets off Rawai beachfront.

overall fantastic, few little things were less as expected, but a quick modification of issue followed, and all clear, of course try to understand, this is thailand, and not everything is taken as serious. but comparing with other offers ,it was just great.

Unusual hotel
Less than 10 min walk to the shore and the the fish market,yet in a very quiet location away from the Main Street noise.the hotel is located in a gated area with several luxurious villas under its management.receptionist was very helpful and cheerful.While we were there (5nights) the TV had only Russian Channels (apparently there was something wrong with the reception box).the hotel offer a shuttle service to the beautiful Nai Harn beach.

I read several reviews on this hotel before I booked, & I thought that those that had given negative reviews may have just been a bit hard to please. How wrong was I. The resort itself could be very nice, possibly even first class, but to get there they need new staff (& probably new management/owners) & a fair bit of finishing off to some areas of the resort. Besides the poor evasive unhelpful staff another thing that stuck in my neck was the fact that we were supposed to have had a free breakfast included in the deal, & a massage. The breakfast was rubbish & what was included was a credit of 150 baht/person/day, which even my kids exceeded every day. While on that the menu had no fruit options at all, & if you don't like eggs you will be in trouble. I didn't even enquire about the massages (along with many other matters) as the staff would have you think that they didn't understand you (but they did!!), which made it very difficult to communicate with them. I suppose achieving the desired result for them, less work! The poor verbal communication was followed up with no menus, details of resort facilities, etc, etc. Both in the so called restaurant & our room. About the only details provided was a 3 page list of what things cost if you break or steal them, right down to each glass!! If you speak Thai fluently, don't mind a bit of dirt & mould here & there, don't want to eat in the resort & like being surrounded by poverty this is probably the place for you.

Charming location.
Hard to find in the backstreets of Rawai, but once there, it is an enchanting little neighbourhood with amazing food. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was the best I found in Thailand.

Mother with daughters first time in Pukett
I recently stayed at this Hotel with my two teenage daughters.We all found it clean,great value for money,beautiful view,great pool and nice breakfast.It is in a nice peaceful district away from the madness of Patong which you will appreciate when you visit Patong. When one of my daughters felt ill one of the breakfast staff looked after her very well even giving her a head massage.I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who is on holiday for the place not nightlife.

Great place, great time!
I just loved this place! We stayed in a superior room, and it was HUGE! Large balcony, massive bed, and a big shower. My husband loved the huge flatscreen tv also. The breakfasts were good, they gave us a 140 baht coupon which was fine as you can get an American Breakfast (eggs your way, bacon, ham, toast, and a tea or coffee) for 118 baht. Not a buffet no, but it was still good. The breakfast opens at 7:15am but every time we went there at 7:15, they hadn't started setting up yet, and when you have tours booked and are due to be picked up at 7:45am you might be a little rushed. If you would rather go elsewhere, there's a lot of nice restaurants on the main road (we walked the "dirt path" and didn't have ANY problems with humans, dogs or any other creatures and found it incredibly safe) and a place called Coconut's that does a big breakfast for less than 200 baht. There is a lack of English but we found that to be everywhere in Thailand. Housekeeper left our sliding door unlocked and open everyday, and as we were on the ground floor, we were not impressed. She also kept forgetting to restock the mini bar. Laundry is overpriced, 25 baht just for a shirt. Take it to the main road, there's a place next to SCB Bank and Laguna Nightclub that will do it for 50 baht a kg. We also didn't mind that it was set back from the beach, as we did tours most of the time and aren't really beach bums. You can always rent a scooter for 300 baht a day and go to the various beaches yourself.

Själva boendet var toppen. Inte jättekul runtom vid Rawai Beach. Dock hade hotellet en minibuss som gick till Nai Harn Beach 2 ggr på förmiddagen och sedan även hämtning kl 17 som ingick varje dag. Den stranden var toppen och det tog endast 7-8 minuter att åka dit.

Hotellet ligger ungefär 750 m från centrum, lite svårt att hitta dit. Kräver hyra sv moppe om man ska stanna en stund. Bra frukost pool. Lite fyrkantigt att kräva 3000 baht närmare 1000 kr trots att man betalt i förväg
