The room given to me was not listed on the site so it was a shock to check in get a different room but the worst part was how discussing the room was it was absolutely filthy and there’s construction going on all sides bugs,flies no door bumpers so you can literally here all the doors slamming shut. Never again will I stay there.

This hotel has had a real makeover, and it shows. The staff seemed very happy in their work, and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The wide screen TV accepts external hard drive. The shower has great pressure and bathroom stocked with good shampoo and shower gel. Buffet breakfast was excellent but sadly, no Bacon. Parking is easy and right by the door. If I have to find one fault, the mattress is very hard, but always the same in Thailand 😉

Please do not book your stay here, such a scam they do. Even when we did not smoke inside the room , the detector had service issues. They put us a fine of 2000 baht for not smoking in the room.

It’s reasonably priced, rooms are fine, nothing special but comfortable. Breakfast doesn’t have much variety or good quality but the omelettes were great. Staff were friendly & helpful.

This was our second time staying here in the last 12 months. The first time we were here for 3 weeks. The rooms are large and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and do their best to meet your needs. The absolutely best part of this resort is the pool. It’s large and the grounds around it are lovely. I especially loved my little patio. It is so nice to walk out onto the patio and there’s the pool and the gardens. Great to sit and have coffee in the morning. Peaceful. I definitely recommend getting the upgrade.

The room was above a kitchen that started cooking at 6.00 am. The smell of burnt cooking was terrible. Otherwise the room was OK. You do a lot of walking to get anywhere in the resort.

There was mosquitoes flying around day & nite and found death cockroach call reception they couldn’t do anything in upgrade where they still put us in the same type room on a lower floor we declined as it show no purpose as I believe that the mosquitoes come from below the dustbins area

Room was spacious and well decorated. Great to look out over Marina and plenty of good quality restaurants and coffee shops within 100 metres. Good breakfast at Capt. Table was included.

Very unfriendly staff compared to any places I have been in Phuket/Bangkok/Thailand. English is not so good relatively, reception not so polite and cold. The hotel is full of group tourist. Breakfast is absolutely disguisting and foul. Room is far from the reception, gym and breakfast. It was a very rainy day and not very easily accessible. Good at least reasonable price room service thai food on its average.

The hotel on the whole was great. Friendly reception staff and we had a nice room right by the large and inviting pool, which is set in a lovely tropical garden with palm trees etc. We can’t recommend the restaurant though. It’s overpriced, the food is average and the wait staff is rude and speaks close to no English. We found several hairs in our food and during our New Years dinner the lights were shut off on us. The staff explained in broken English that they were on a timer that they couldn’t override. We spoke with reception staff and communicated clearly that we would finish our meal in our room without paying if the lights weren’t turned back on. Only a few minutes later when we were packing up to go did they realise we were serious and suddenly there were three staff operating the switch box to turn the lights back on. For a good meal for half the price of the hotel restaurant, try the little local restaurant back up towards the main road.

Thank you, for the upgrade☺️☺️ It’s a very nice hotel, but always seems to be full of Chinese, who constantly use their ‘outdoor voice!🤣🤣 Rooms are spacious and super clean, but don’t seem to have facilities for hot drinks? Very unusual!

Nice pool which is sometimes crowded with tour groups. Restaurant not so good. Big surprise was at checkout getting the unwashed sheets we gave hotel staff six days earlier after accidentally spilling something. The desk claimed they'd been washed but that was obviously untrue. We had called housekeeping right away so they could have at least attempted to wash them but instead the sheets were placed inside a plastic bag and allowed to.moulder six days and presented to us on checkout with a demand we pay! This after being very generous with the staff and buying food and drink there daily. Very rude. Wouldn't go.bsck.

You get what you pay for
It wasn't that bad. Just that my room was about 1km away from the lobby, and the fact that is has no stairs just makes it disappointing. Although, the room was clean and big. On this website it says an ironing board is available on request, although when I asked the reception they said they don't even have an ironing board or any kind of ironing facility which was disappointing as I had to wear a suit and I needed to get my clothes ironed. But other than that, it was a good stay, no distractions or anything.

Great Hotel With Friendly Staff
A great hotel for stopping at if you are in transit to another Island off Phuket it's close to Bang Rong Pier, a little out of the way if want to visit Patong Beach with an average taxi fare to get anywhere of 600 Bat although that's still quite good

Being in the BLR
We stayed in a penthouse suite which had a rather large and steep flight of stairs to climb to get to. While stairs were mentioned in the booking, they were hugely underestimated. There was no offer from hotel staff to help take our luggage up to our room nor collect it when we left. Service was very slow in the restaurant and the food was passable which was disappointing considering we ordered mostly Thai dishes. That being said, they were more than happy to accommodate the dietary needs of my family. The pool was great and my kids loved it! We did have some issues with our room but they did attend to them right away and they were resolved (mostly). The basics are all there, it seems though, that it needs an uplift in service and attention to detail but overall, our stay was quite pleasant.

Convenient, helpful staff, clean rooms. The rooms were a bit far from the check in area though and it was a 3rd floor walk up. The beds, although clean and comfortable were not king size and were two twins put together with what felt like a barrier in the middle (one could not comfortably stretch out).

Book 2 bedroom 4 th fl units
I would recommend only the marina 2 bedroom suites penthouses room great views of nice marina which has a few shops and restaurants but is showing signs of age. I have stayed in 2 bedroom suites twice for total of 6-8 nights and think the are best value and beautiful room. Reception desk service and breakfast which is in a separate building about 200 m away is mediocre. Note room service ends at 10.

Very disappointed with facilities
Unfortunately when booking for a family, the pictures on hotels.com of the room is very misleading. It looks like 2 double beds in the room which should be perfect for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 12). I confirmed the room directly with hotel to ensure that the room was adequate. Only to find on arrival at 11pm we were upgraded to a king size bed .... and a small couch. Upon query we were shown a room advertised on the website only to find it is 2 single beds and not 2 double beds. My poor son had to sleep on a small couch for 14days and the other in our bed as it the couch wasn't even a sleeper couch as they wanted to charge us 800 baht a night for a roll away noisy bed ..... the food in restaurant was lovely the first night , second night we ordered the same meal and it was horrible. We complained but heard nothing further. We ended up eating all our meals at other restaurants and not at the hotel. Room cleanliness was good but the bathroom smelt throughout our stay. The pool area is lovely and we enjoyed many afternoons there ... but sadly that was the only thing we enjoyed about our stay at boat lagoon. It's far from most attractions and very expensive to take a taxi around. Their shuttle service which I wouldn't even call it that, is only within the boat lagoon .... and does not go outside which was disappointing.

The Apartments of the Resort
The apartments are separate from the hotel however are managed via the hotel. The executive marina facing apartment we stayed at had water damage to one wall that had just been painted over not repaired. The whole complex was tired and many of the office / shop units were empty not leased. The boat lifting facility is going through a major upgrade for the rest of this year and there is major construction work happening including pile driving starts at 8.30 in the morning and continues until about 5.30. The room fob is rfid and when removed with the key to go out powers off everything except the washing machine / dryer was annoying as couple of times I left devices behind to be recharged which obviously didn't work. Excellent wifi except it requires a new user ID and password every 24 hours.

Resort with marina, old buildings
This is a resort and marina complex built about 30 years ago. None of the buildings are new. Some have been renovated. Some are currently being renovated included the one our room was in. Jackhammers were going within 50 meters of our room all day. It was impossible to relax. We could not change rooms as they were fully booked. Most guests here are on low cost packaged tours. Most of the guests are young and party at night running from room to room. The staff work hard here. The cleaning staff do a good job dealing with old buildings and old plumbing.

OK, but only because I needed to be at the marina
The hotel itself is fine, although a little maintenance and updating would not go astray. The location would not suit most. It is quite distant from most areas of interest to tourists but was a good location for me as I needed to be at the marina. It is clearly a transit hotel for large tour groups from elsewhere in Asia and caters accordingly. The "American" breakfast was virtually non existent, although the staff were very accommodating and prepared some additional items on request. Limited options for other meals and not even a bar for a drink.

Lovely hotel but in the middle of nowhere
If you have transport then this hotel is a bargain but without own car it is very isolated. Lovely room, pool and harbour views but nothing to do in walkable location and no one interested in getting you out on trips etc. Glad we only booked two nights.

Good hotel to the right price.
For a short stay Boat Lagoon Resort good choice, with friendly staff, good and precise service and with some good facilities.
