This is not for everyone, but of you enjoy being off the beaten trail, away from the city, in a gorgeous setting, this one's for you. The seaside rooms are a must. Bigger, nicer, with a great view, and easy walk to the beach. The two beaches are very small, but both have access to snorkeling. Do your research, there is a reason this is the number 1 rated snorkeling area. We went on a full moon, bad time to snorkel with with extreme tides, visibility was poor, but there reef and fish were abundant.
The breakfast apparently has gotten better, and the wait staff was excellent. Only negatives, they need better shuttle service to town, it runs every 2 hours, but only 10am to 6pm. They need to rent kayaks and snorkel gear if they are going to be so isolated, just to give more variety for activities. It would nice if the front desk spoke more English. I speak a little Thai, so I made do. Took my daughter and her family, they all loved it.
