Nestled in a prime location, this hotel is a stone’s throw away from an array of superb dining options. The area around the hotel is pleasantly walkable, allowing us to explore the vibrant surroundings at our leisure. As for the hotel itself, it maintained impeccable cleanliness throughout our stay, adding to the overall comfort and pleasure of our visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Panama City with convenience and style

La Isabela Suites is beautiful but we ran into several problems with our unit. There was no water! phone and iPod didn’t work to communicate that issue with concierge. I have to say that Jose was the most accommodating person I have ever seen. He was so helpful, kind, and patient to relocate us to different hotel. Because of Jose I am leaving a nice review.

This place is spectacular. 2 separate bedrooms, 2 baths, and a full kitchen with a living room, not to mention a balcony overlooking the street and a beautiful shared courtyard along the side of the suite! And Jose was fantastic checking us in, giving us great suggestions for things to do in this historic district (Casco Viejo). This was our lodging for our last night in Panama, and it was truly the icing on the cake for a great vacation. Hopefully we make it back to Panama many more times, and if we do, we'll stay at La Isabela each time and for way more than one night.

Wonderful property. The main building is in the perfect location. Very close to excellent restaurants, the museums, and great shopping. So happy that I stayed in the Casco Viejo area. . .what a great experience. I was traveling alone and felt very safe in the area. My room was exceptional. Spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Management was extremely accommodating when we ran into some challenges in checkin and with the air conditioning. The rooms were funky and idiosyncratic in a good way. I’d stay again.

We would definitely recommend La Isabela to anyone looking to stay in Casco Viejo. The attention to detail from the fellows at the desk was outstanding. They went over and above to help us out during our stay. The suite was lovely and quiet. Beds are quite comfortable as well.

The property was beautiful - with a really nice inner courtyard as well as a balcony facing the streets. There was a full kitchen and all the necessary utensils, etc. in our two bedroom suite. The two bathrooms were clean and large and all rooms were beautifully decorated. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged a day tour for us. This is an excellent place to stay in Panama - we highly recommend it.
