Great location to Universal Studios Japan. If you want an inexpensive option for the area this was great. Room was not overly clean they could do a much better job on that end. Limited personal hours at front desk. Do not show up early as no one there until 4pm to check you in. Only about a 10-12 minute walk to universal which is what makes it great

Great location to USJ
This property was great for what me and my family needed. Very close to USJ and train station to explore Osaka. Bed was not as comfortable as I would had like but after being out 12+ hours I was just happy to have a safe, clean place to sleep. The property served it's purpose a place to sleep and leave my belongings safe while I enjoyed my vacation. Would surely visit again and request 1st floor accommodations as there is no elevators at this property.

The staff are very nice and helpful and their hospitalty was excellent👍 The unit is clean and everything we need was there. The only problem was there’s no elevator . But its ok coz they helped us with our baggage😊

Great for USJ!
Great location for anyone traveling here to go to universal studios japan, each morning we walked to the train station about 1/4 mike away for could walk directly to the park in about a mile if we didn’t feel like taking the train, we had a stroller so walking was easier most of the time. The room was nice and clean and plenty for us since we literally just slept there.

Hotel Gloire fit for the Millennials
The Hotel Gloire is just 1 station away from USJ. The compact room has a small kitchen and bathroom. The water pressure is OK for bathing after a day tour of USJ. It's a good location if you will be visiting USJ for 2 days. However, the hotel has no elevator or lift considering they have 4 floors. We were booked on the 4th floor (401), so we have to carry our luggages upto the 4th level. A good exercise, but not good for the seniors and PWDs. You can buy some food at the 7-11 store at the back of the hotel. Overall stay is OK.

Good provided you are going to universal studios
Accessible to universal studio in a good way. Not flexible enough for the check in as well as check out. Staff are not there most of the time and room is too cold and no room service.

Horrible bed, unfriendly staff
When we arrived before check in time, front clerk agreed to hold our bags in the back. When we returned hours later after Unversal Studios, we found them outside in the open air lobby. When asked, the new front clerk just pointed to camera indicating that it was bags were secured. I don't see this as possible as anyone could have taken them. I had sent an email yo hotel prior about holding the bags with no reply. Overall, it seemed annoyed and that we were bothering him when explaining hotel policies. The room was small which we knew and that's fine. But the bed was awefully uncomfortable. The fan and the wall mount intercom were in Japanese without an added English translation so it difficult to know how anything worked. Unrelated to the hotel's review, we heard the intercom loudly wake us up at midnight, startling us with someone lamenting at our front door. We didn't open the door, feeling unsafe. Had we known how to use the intercom, we could have used it. I found out the next day that it was a young girl who for some reason was out of her room at that time.

Best Price close to USJ
This apartment was small four two adults and two teenagers, but there was (barely) enough bed space. The beds were akin to pull out mattresses, not very comfortable. The only place to get food close seems to be a 7-11. It is, however, very close to USJ, and decently priced for the area.Well worth it if you will be spending most of your time out.

We stayed here from 12/24 - 12/25/16 because our preferred hotel was already fully booked. The check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am, that in itself is a turnoff. The guy in the front desk is efficient but not welcoming. There is no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor. Our room was tidy but cramped. The only advantage of staying in this hotel is its proximity to Universal Studios as well as the 7-11 nearby. Other than that, it's over-priced for the type of room and service you are getting.

Convenient and clean hotel
It serves our purpose of getting to USJ quickly in the morning and getting back to rest after USJ and dinner nearby. In addition, it is the cheapest among the few hotels in the vicinity. The room comes with a microwave, toaster, electric stove and a coin operated washing machine inside the room. Our japanese style room only have a very small short legged table. Other than that, the surrounding area does not have other attractions to offer.

Not much going for it
We booked this hotel based on its proximity to Universal Studios Japan - unfortunately, it was inconvenient as USJ was only accessible by another train station. While the room was clean, the bedding was uncomfortable. The lack of an elevator was also a pain point. On the bright side, the cooking facilities and pots/pans was helpful. Tips: The hotel is only accessible via JR trains - having a JR pass would be useful.

A walking distance from a train station.
The place was pretty convenient with a few distance away from the train station and next to a convenient store. The room was well equiped with essential equipments and clean. Overall is a good choice of stay!

Reasonable price, Close to Universal Studio Japan
We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The check in time is fixed, but we arrived afternoon so there was not a problem for us. The staff in the front desk are very nice, although he is a Japanese who doesnt speak well English, but he tried his best to explain and with a polite smile on his face. We appreciated his help and recommendation given for our trip. When we entered the room, it was very clean and tidy with everything we need,even free wifi in the hotel. The location is what I am looking for because our main schedule is for Universal Studio. It is very good and close to USJ as its just one station away. And its very easy to get to the hotel from Kansai airport(only 5mins walk from the station) and also get to Umeda, Osaka JR stations,etc. There is a 24 hours convenience shop right next to the hotel, nice to get some beer after an exhausting day. If your main attraction is Universal Studio, we would like to highly recommend you this hotel, good location and reasonable price:)

The worst customer service I have experienced. Very unusual for Japan. The caretaker of this establishment opens limited hours and is completely useless and unhelfull. I think he only knew a single English word which was "no". Close to USJ but nothing else going for it.

We loved how it was close to the major landmarks in the city. The attendants and front desk officers were polite and very helpful, though they only are available in the afternoon. Good choice for the price we paid.

ユニバまで近く、低学年の子供でも歩いていけました。チェックイン時間が遅いのがネックですが、深夜でも連絡しておけば対応してくれます。 スタッフさんがいないときのチェックアウトは封筒に現金をいれるかPayPayのみになるので、クレジットカードや、電子マネーが使えないので注意。 ユニバから深夜に帰って早朝にまた出発したので、システムは非常によかったです。 ただ、客室のシーツや、お風呂場にスタッフさんと思われる毛髪があったのが気になりました。　他には設備やアメニティなど十分でしたので、格安で素泊まりするにはぴったりのホテルでした。

2泊したのですが、まずは常備されているドライヤーが初日になかったことで-1 部屋は想像より綺麗でした。 あとはユニバまで徒歩1分とありましたが、どこの入り口に対してですか？ チケット売り場に行くのなら徒歩1分では到底行けません。キャスト入り口と間違えてはいませんか？情報の修正をお願いしたいです。 なのでトータル-2です。
