hotel near Temma station
Distance to this place is pretty far from the local train. But if you can outstand a 10 to 15 minutes walk, this will not be an issue. The Temma Shopping district nearby was a pretty interesting place. Even though most of the shops close pretty early, but there is a good mix of shops. This place doesn't provide tea and coffee mix for free. but you still can use the hot water that was provided to do other stuff...

A stay in Osaka
The distance to the hotel is slightly a bit too far, but there is the Temma Shopping District nearby, which is good and bad. The shops close relatively early, but there's a good mix of shops there.

poor layout
very poor layout which doesn't fit criteria of hostel. each floor of rooms (6 floors in total accessible by lift) has a small fridge kettle on the floor but no food storage boxes/space and no crockery or cutlery. for this you have to carry all your food items to 6th floor where there are plates etc and toaster kettle. there is a kitchen there but only accessible to staff!! this means dirty dishes pile up as staff have to clean for us!! doesn't make sense, can be un hygienic with left over food, and a real inconvenience carying thing up and down. wouldn't stay again
