Property was clean and the deluxe 1 bedroom was very roomy for 4 people. However, the mattress and couch were both very much outdated and too soft to sleep or sit on. Limited kitchen utensils (forks and plates and detergent for example) are provided. No towels change unless you stay there for a longer period (7 or 8 days). Bring your own salt, pepper and oil if you plan to cook You can check out tennis rackets although they only have 3 so you have to play 2 on 1 instead of double. The basketball was also very much worn out; not sure why Diamond resort won't spend the $10 at Walmart to pick up a couple. We also checked out the ping pong but one of the balls was not even bouncing because it was cracked. You can also check out DVD from the rec center although there is no DVD player in my unit. Overall, the property was nice, but the amenities/maintenance/rec management have much room to improve

I liked that we had two separate rooms side by side. One had 2 bedrooms/2bathrooms, kitchen, living room and the other had 1 bedroom/1 bathroom with kitchen and living area.

I just got back from my 4 night stay at Mystic Dunes and I loved it. The 2 bedroom suite was modern and comfortable. We had everything that we needed. The screened in patio was perfect for sitting outside with a drink or dining. The unit was modern and furnished nicely. Our unit was right across from the waterfall pool that was beautiful and being a heated pool was great when the temps dropped in the evening. Loved the tiki bar and we were able to order food. What could improve the experience would be spa tubs (hot tubs) in the pool areas or at least jetted tubs in the suites master. After a day of walking the parks or golfing a nice soak would be enjoyable. One other thing would be to maybe not have rollers on the small ottomans in the living area or make sure that families with children (if possible) are in garden level units. We were directly below a family with several children that had to be playing with the ottomans rolling them continuously over the tile floors beginning early in the morning and then again all evening long well past midnight. We did not complain to the staff as we were able to figure out what the noise was. Others may not be so accommodating though as it was quite load and woke us up early and made it difficult to go to sleep. I doubt that the family above us knew how much noise those ottomans were making below them.
