Awesome View, great value.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The best part other than our awesome view was the shower! I loved the water pressure. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It was a 12 minute walk from Oita Station, and there was a Lawson around the corner. We also got free breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. The room was spacious but the balcony was the star of the room. Would definitely stay here again.

Smelly in shower room and no service mind.
The shower room smells really bad because of moist in there never been cleaned i think. There's no parking left over at the hotel so i have to park at rental parking area behind the hotel, i asked forbinformation at the hotel counter about parking fee for reference but they doesn't care to prodvide revelent information and only saying sorry i don't know. By the way, i communicate in Japanese not English because I ever stay in Kapan for many years, its not they are not capable to communicate with me, so i felt that the service mind in Japan had dropped compare to the past, also knowing related information nearby shall be a basic service mind for front desk but they don't give a damn.

Hotel for transit
Room is very small compared to other hotels in Japan. Condition of room is reasonable to stay. However, there’s a broken switch beside the bed which was not repaired. The small wires are exposed. Not a big deal thou. Just for safety reasons they should get that rectified I would think. It’s a good hotel for just transit stay.

Not worth a second visit.
Unfortunately for 2 nights in a row, after being out all day, we came back late in the evening only to discover that our room and linen had not been cleaned or changed - which was really disappointing. The staff were apologetic but that's not the point. The rooms were really small.

Great hotel for the price & in a handy location for walking to the sights as well. Parking 1000 yen which was less than other hotels

Rugby World Cup
We were there for the Rugby World Cup, it’s location was just right for it, food just ok more suited to Asians than Europeans but still ate it 😊, could only get a smoking room, that was better than expected, all hotel rooms in Japan are small and compact, hotel staff were brilliant and hotel very clean too.

Great location central to the city within walking distance to the train station, shopping and the bus stop around the corner for the airport limousine bus to Oita airport. Used this as accommodation to attend a Rugby World Cup evening game, and for that purpose it did the job well. The room is extremely small, and cleanliness and upkeep could be improved. Don’t expect too much, but I can definitely recommend if you need a place to stay during RWC 2019 for evening games -which is a better option than the long late night hike back to Beppu. Oita people have been the best RWC hosts so far in my experience.

Awful smelly hotel
Room was small, unclean and stank of smoke. Completely ripped off for the room. The photos are misleading as they show a suite not a standard room.

Foyer and staff were very good. Rooms were old and in need of new furniture and carpet. Carpet was very dirty. I had a wad of hair in my towel when I unfolded it which was an unpleasant experience

Stayed here during Golden Week as it was the only hotel with availability. The rooms are on the small side but acceptable. Location is good. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

One night stay
We arrived very late in the night and just stay in the hotel for sleeping. The room is a bit small. Wish the outdoor hottub can be a bit bigger. The breakfast was good. The stay in not bad overall!

Location: 700 meter (10 mins) walk from Oita cental station. Clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel. Elevator is quite slow. Staffs are kind.

Convenient budget hotel
Room is very small. There is no room the walk after placing the luggage rack. Reasonable price for parking fees. Staff are politeness as always in Japan.

Comfortable hotel close to shopping and station
The hotel was close to the station and easy to get to! The room was big for Japanese standards and set up very nicely. A typhoon was coming and they let me check in about 30 minutes early since the rain was so heavy outside. The bed was very comfortable. the only bad point is the wifi didn't seem to work consistently while I was there :(

10 mins walk from Oita station to the hotel. There is the shopping arcade just across the hotel. Most of the shops closed early and have to go there before 5pm if you are planning any shopping.
