Helpful and friendly staff. Courtesy bus into the city was great great system and john was the best.
I wish I could give this hotel a better review. The staff (Gabby in particular) were exceptionally polite and accommodating - Just an overall pleasure. The free shuttle into the city was great. The driver was friendly and punctual at all times. The Hotel, itself, however, has some serious issues. The main hallways into the rooms were not heated and cold. Breakfast in the morning was continental but comprised primarily of pastries, bagels, and cereal. Many seating tables in the lounge were messy and needed to be cleaned, as only one poor staff member struggled to clear plates and replenish items for about 25-30 individuals. Perhaps I had bad timing, but on 3 separate days I went for get coffee and the carafe both coffee and hot water were empty. The room itself was clean, (decent sized by NY standards), furnished with a large TV, minifridge, iron/iron board, and offered spectacular view of Manhattan. However, there was no room service. There was no complimentary water. There was no kettle. The bed was fitted with an old spring mattress. The heating unit was not working upon arrival. Housekeeping did not clean our room at all. I was told I needed to request this service, despite a card in the room indicating it would be cleaned every second day. This could be a much better hotel if they changed a few small things. Perhaps in the summer, when the patio is open, this would be a better option.
I had an emergency and I couldn’t get to the hotel .. they charged me anyway and never gave me a refund. They took my money
