The check in process was great but I was given the wrong room. I had reserved a king and was given a room with doubles. The hotel is older and aging the elevators look corporate and not very hotel like Front door to room had chips, bed spreads look like they are aging, bathroom floor a bit yucky. It was a fast stay but definitely below average in many aspects.

Breakfast is really unacceptable. No place to sit, disposable cutlery & crockery and not enough variety. Food ran out during breakfast session. the fitness room is lacking equipment. The staff and service, however, were great!

I like staying in this area because of the proximity to Times Square and the major subway lines. Some of the area around the hotel is not so great, but it is like that throughout Manhattan. Some nice restaurants and bars very close and like I said, the subway is RIGHT THERE. Only drawback is the drawback of a lot of NYC hotels - not a great elevator system.
