This place is exactly as the name describes - a budget hotel in the city center. No bells & whistles but is affordable and doesn't have you in a shared dorm.

Nice and affordable accommodation. Friendly efficient staff Note - share bathrooms, no air conditioning and stairs only up to rooms. If all of this is ok with you - it’s fine.

Budget it is..location best feature
I guess it is budget and location is ok..but its still not cheap. .its comfortable..but room was never cleaned once ..no new towels tea coffee etc ..stairwell to rooftop small kitchen which i never used and is very basic smelled terrible to the point you had to hold your breath...it was fine for me on my own but would not be a high recommendation for people's travel really..

Affordable, comfortable and clean!
I was solo-traveling as a female and was afraid of staying with other people, so this solo-room option with shared bathroom was great for me! It was clean, there were windows that helped ventilate the area. A big table with a fridge - it was so good, I really loved it. The toilets are shared, so bear in mind and bring some shower slippers!

I have stayed at many a budget no frills place before; this was the most disappointing in my years of travel. I don't need or ask much but this place's only grace was the location. Close to major things in the downtown core, transit etc. Not the cleanest and paper thin walls. If you have a room that faces the parking garage with bright fluorescent lights you will need ear plugs, eye mask and the ability to sleep through garbage trucks every day. Sometime before 5am an alleyway associated with a local bar is dumped out and I got to hear this Monday - Thursday night. I can't imagine what it sounds like on a weekend with the nearby bars. Also, no elevator so not an accessible hotel. You got that large suitcase? Have fun lugging it down the stairs when you check out before the limited reception hours.

The only problem was that we did not read the full review before coming because you had not lift. My friend did manage the one flight of stairs . It was good to be able to arrive after hours and leave before the office opened

We arrived at mid night but missed the email message from hotel. The email will have clear instructions how to open their door as the hotel has no people at reception to open the door. The location is super good ,just opposite Sheraton Hotel. It is very noisy from the road outside during our stay , we can’t sleep well.

Would be okay for a backpacker staying a few nights. But the room was extremely hot even when it was cool outside, with the window facing directly at the other side of the building there was no airflow. There was only one small fan inside the room. For the shared bathroom the toilet wasn’t separate from the shower so if someone was using either you couldn’t use the other amenity. There was also what looked like mould on the bathroom walls. There is also no lift so you have to carry your bags up multiple flights of stairs.

Great that it had a somewhat nice bathroom and there was a split system AC Place was gross sheets stained, dust, pillows and bed super uncomfortable, people running up and down the corridor, hot water ran out, massive lack of amenities, you can’t bring guests back which is just impractical and stupid, room was super dated and you can hear everything that goes on from the other rooms
