Decided to go with Brady Hotel Jones Lane as it was at a competitive price and reviews were good. When I got there, seeing the exterior of the hotel, I thought | booked some dodgy place.... Don't let the exterior fool you (they're safety features). When I walked into the foyer it was a different feeling. I was greeted by Carrie, who was very friendly, smiling and welcoming. She advised me that my room was ready. Prior to my arrival I received a text from the hotel for online check in, therefore keys to room handed promptly. I also dealt with Jenny, who was as friendly and helpful. I booked a king room on the 11th floor. Room isn't big, however has the necessary comfort. Room and bathroom were very clean. Very comfortable bed. The hotel doesn't have an onsite restaurant, however there are a few eateries close by. At the time of my stay, tram services nearby were disrupted due to maintenance work (hotel website advised that). Melbourne Central is a ~10 minutes walk therefore not a major issue. The reason for 4 star is that carpet smelt musty and it’s a smell that hits you when you come out of the lift onto the floor. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.
