The property was located across a very busy road and away from established restaurants and cafes. It's a distance to walk to traffic junction for safe cross.

A great place to stay but it is bit away from the more hip hotels such as Shore and The Pines, so you need to have a car and be prepared to travel about 10-15 min to places like Jonker Walk, Museum, and eateries.

My stay was very pleasant and nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room and service was all good. Hotel is near to all the shopping centre and about half an hour drive to all the tourist attractions places. Definitely will come back again!

I was staying at the club room and we were offered breakfast and afternoon tea.
What a joke when we were told they ran out of red wine to serve out.
How can this happened to a hotel guest who has booked the club room.

The hotel needs an upgrade to improve the quality and finishing with better experience. Example the bathroom basin and toilet bowl change as well as room furniture

A dated establishment. Power points are not working. Air vents are dirty and dusty that I got allergic to dust. Decor are outdated.

First time staying at this hotel for 2 nights and we will never ever come back again because we got bedbugs bite after staying here. It mean that the room is not clean especially the bed and the carpet floor.The TV signal is also very bad, all the channels totally cannot see. The shuttle service is also not punctual. We waited at the Dataran Pahlawan Mall for almost 30 minutes until we called the Hotel then only they came to fetch us. The variety of breakfast is also limited and not tasty. Overall it's bad experience for our stay at Holiday Inn Melaka Hotel.

Went down for breakfast at 0700. Roti prata was not ready. Waited till 0800. Still not ready.
There were quite a few guest waiting. Could not wait any longer as we had to depart.
If not for this the rest of my stay was very nice

Excellent hotel! We had the Kid's Suite and it was perfect. Italian restaurant was also good. Breakfast was good with a variety of foods.

Stay was good. Nice hotel, clean, comfortable room, friendly staff.
Walking distance to malls.
But the breakfast needs much improvement. Limited choice, and food doesn’t get replenish promptly.
Hotel is just located near to the mall n night market for food n can experience the Jonker street if you walk a bit further. The staff at the reception is pleasant n helpful. Check in n check out is at ease. The swimming pool is nice with viewing to the sea. Gym is clean n fill with essential equipment for workout. Car park n the hotel lobby is easily accessible.
Have stayed here many times and I’ve noticed that the condition is still decent - of course it’s clean and spacious and the common amenities are in good condition. The swimming pool is a highlight and so is the Italian restaurant scirocco.

Due to my mum’s health, we spent our 3 night stay mostly at the hotel and it’s restaurants.
We were delighted with the restaurant’s staff service especially Syafinas and Khairu. They were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent too.
The room however has a musky smell and dated.
Overall it’s a wonderful stay for us.
