Cute boutique hotel with nice decor. In the perfect location, welcoming staff, and clean. The room could use a little touch up but I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The reception staff Intan was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. So walkable to Jonker St Night Market, shops and eateries. Hard to get a park but luckily the Reserved parking space at the hotel front was good for offloading bags. The Peranakan hotel is a historical building but needs to be maintained as the shower ceiling had water dripping down when the guests in the room above took a shower. Some parts of the walls had paint flaking off and dents. A real shame that this historical building lacks some TLC

Beautiful hotel - like staying in someones’s stylish antique filled home. Staff lovely. Very comfy huge king size bed with very nice quality sheets, good shower and bathroom. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.

The location wise and staffs is great ! But the property itself if rundown, and very dirty . Obvioisly is not being clean properly, dust is everywhere . Water leakage problem on the ceiling and thign chipping off . The worst thing is the design for the toilet . Not fully closed up for the WC area. Smell and noise all over the room when use the toilet . Not worth paying for this hotel at all !!

Other than the parking which is understandable considering the density of the Jonker Walk area, the hotel is beautiful and very historic. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is just next to the famous Jonker Street, so the location is perfect for those who wants to just walk out to the busy tourist street. It is also just a 5 minute walk to the Dutch Square, the River Walk and and a few more minutes to A' Formosa. The room is clean and the decor is astounding.

There is bed bugs in room F1. Initially i thought it was mosquito, i put on the mosquito repellant but the bites did not stop. Since i cant sleep. I woke up and saw the bug crawling.

Best Nyonya hotel in Heeren

Good hotel but not sure if you're getting what you pay for. The lobby is just beautiful but the rooms aren't that impressive, I know it's supposed to have an antique local cultural vibe but it doesn't mean you cannot renovate the rooms a little bit once in a while and it seems like they haven't been renovated in years. Probably my only complaint is the hot water doesn't last 5 minutes before turning to warm water only. Location wise you cannot get anything better than this, it's in a very convenient location to stroll around all the main touristic places yet still a very quiet location. Would I stay again here? Maybe, the location is awesome and the place is cozy.

Nice interior decor in public areas. Location is excellent in heritage area of Malacca. Staff was welcoming and quick to respond to our requests even going out of their way to send an item forgotten by one of our travelling companions.

The best staying in the heart of heritage town
Love everything here. I had a lovely experience of staying in the heart of Melacca heritage town. So convenient to visit all the place around here on your foot.

We love that its a heritage premise, & its peranakan styling. There is always someone at reception, and like it that the front door is always locked at night, for safety reasons. Guest can access with the room card, besides, the friendly reception staff recognises the guests. Excellent location, jonker st, central, yet its peaceful & quiet inside the hotel. I would rate it a 4 star, if not for the room that we stayed in, looks very tired, bed and pillows weren't comfortable. It was the junior suite.

Staffs were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and amenities were very complete. I love that the setting was in an old nyonya house style so you get to experience and see the interiors of it. Great experience overall!

Fantastic location -- conveniently located right on Heeren, which is perfect for those seeking a Peranakan cultural experience. Hotel has an impressive and inviting lobby -- feels authentic and particularly love the soothing water feature. Our twin room was a little sparse on decor, but had everything we needed. Definitely recommend a stay here for the convenience and experience of staying in a historic shophouse.

The location is closer to major attractions, e.g. the jonker st and the nyonya museum. The room was small. It did not have much space for the luggage or to sit other than the bed.

Stay was gd except that you need to climb the stairs. Some of the switch in room are non existance. Phone call is working but no ringing. Funny? Breakfast across the road. The quality and variety is average. Parking is generally safe 2 streets behind the hotel. Location very near jonker street. Overall still a good place.

Not What It Seems
The public area is eclectic and nicely decorated, it being in an old shophouse helps. However, the bedroom, bathroom and in-room amenities are normal, I would rate it as a guest-house standard at best. The floorboard is thin and we could hear the footsteps from the bedroom above us. Breakfast is pathetic. For the price, it's not worth it. Also, after booking, I found out that the room rate at Agoda is SGD70 with no service fees. On hotel.com, the rate was SGD90 + $14.65 services fee. There are nicer hotels at half the price.
