Horrible service. Checked in around 9 pm, requested extended check out. Check out was approved, told to call the next morning and tell front desk a time. (Weird for me to have to go out of my way to do so, but I agreed) returned to our room at 8:30 am, Cale’s front desk, gave them a time. Told to call back at 9 am and discuss this again. I explained that we had just gotten to our room for sleep, and that I would try to call but that this was their notification and my request. At 11 am a knock came to my door from housekeeping, telling me to vacate the room, I explained we had a late check out for 1 pm. Even offered to pay extra. And I was told that was not his problem, and that late check out was 11:30. At this point I said fine, give me 45 mins to get myself together shower and I would vacate. Instead I was told that it was now 11:30, and he would not allow further time and we needed to leave right then. I went to the front desk, explained everything. And was refused a refund. So we did everything right by them. Paid for a room with a deposit. That both were not returned to me. And we only utilized the room for 2.5 hours of sleep.
At the end of the day- very unprofessional and even if I was in the wrong, which I was not, it’s never okay for staff to speak with someone the way I was spoken to.
