The property was clean with a modern and fresh decor. Had a great bar and restaurant. The facilities for relaxation such as the pool and spa were excellent. The room was spacious and luxurious.

The property was very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast service was excellent and the chief who made the omelette in the morning was excellent. The room was very spacious and very clean and comfortable. This was the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in while in London. I would definitely recommend staying there again when I’m back in London.

I have stayed at this property numerous times and always love to return. I love the amazing swimming pool and the cozy ambient. Also a great location - short walk to the Tower of London and to the St Paul's Cathedral and great transport links.

Overall a decent stay. The kettle and coffee machine both leaked. Both days the soap dispenser in the shower wasnt filled and I was surprised there wasn't conditioner available. Long waits for the elevators at times. I'm not sure the hotel was worth what we paid for it.

I would have rated this hotel much more favorably had the lifts (elevators) and in-room TV viewing options had not been so terrible. At times the wait time for the lift could easily be 10 minutes. Simply did not work properly. TV reception horrible as well (unacceptable anywhere with today’s high end tech availability).

The property is nice, and close to the Tower of London and some public transit stations. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable and you can hear through the walls pretty easily. What I was mostly unimpressed with was the staff. I accepted an offer prior to my stay for an early check in (for 40 pounds extra) and when I got there exhausted from an overnight flight, there were no rooms available. I was told the concierge could hold my bags and “I could go explore somewhere for 4 hours until rooms were ready.” I never once had housekeeping come into my room for any reason throughout my stay even though I saw them out and about - generally huddled together giggling. And finally, on my final night my phone was stolen and I needed to make some calls to get travel plans back home switched around. I was allowed to use the hotel phone, but just kept being stared at like I was a nuisance. My mom and boyfriend kept trying to call my room that evening and no one at the front desk would even answer phones to put them through. It took me literally an hour to get someone to answer the phone just to schedule a wake up call. While the property and spa are nice, it certainly doesn’t make up for the staff. Head concierge Frank is lovely, the restaurant was great, but the rest of the staff I encountered left a bit to be desired.

The price for the hotel was very reasonable (circa $134 before tax). The bed was one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in and I wish that I'd asked the name of the mattress brand. As a swimmer, it is rare to find a 25 meter lap pool.

The staff is 1st class and the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very large, which is a major bonus in London. The hotel gives out free candies and Turkish delight every morning. The hotel is filled when tons of beautiful seating areas for guest. There is a tube a few blocks away with lots of restraunts. You can easily walk to Tower Bridge and Tower of London.

The staff were very friendly from check in to check out. The location of the hotel was only a 5 minute walk to Tower Hill tube station. In walking distance of the Tower of London and tower bridge. Restaurants and bars near the hotel and a Tesco extra around the corner. Having booked a suite, we were located on the 14th floor, with spectacular views. Rooms were spacious although could have done with a thorough clean before arrival, as had deflated ballon’s from previous occupants still in room. One of the lifts were out of order during our stay which was annoying ant busy periods as it took an age to get down to ground floor. Stairs were available but if carrying a case not ideal. Restaurant and bar were ok, sometimes took a while for drinks to be served, even when not busy. Drinks were reasonably priced for London, £9.50 for a glass of wine and £6 for a pint. The hotel had a games room with a pool table, fuze ball and table tennis. Fault quite in the evenings, but with so much to out and about that was ok. We had a very relaxing time and would recommend if you wanted to stay in that area.

This hotel was expensive. For that price, I expected a certain level is service. No attempt was made to accommodate our needs. Even though I reserved these rooms several months in advance, our rooms were not together. We were unable to check in until 6 pm even though we arrived at 10am. No attempt for on time check in. The refrigerator/ minibar was broken and the pump soap in the shower did not work. I sincerely hope they were not really using that soap or shampoo in the spa because I was awful. I left an item behind and have been trying to reach a real person all day but have been hung up on 20 times. Take this hotel off your list/ it sucks. Stay at the Travel Lodge across the street. They want you to check out online so they don’t have to hear any complaints. The only saving grace was the bar tender with the multicolored hair.
